If an affiliate puts in the wrong ID or just forgets to add one at all do we get credit with the sale or does CCBill get a free few bob?

You get the credit and affiliate gets nothing if its just Affiliates ID missing/wrong.

Hi Geezer,

Yes, the first reply is indeed correct. If the information in the tracking banner code is incorrect, or if the affiliate has inserted incorrect information, the sale will not credit the affiliate. It will be as if the consumer went directly to the site without the banner and signed up in that manner.
