Ive used JMB stuff for yonks, and always found their support pretty decent and prompt - however unless he's changed stuff in the last year, it's by contact form only - http://www.jmbsoft.com/contact/

....I'm getting tied up in knots trying to explain what the problems are I'm having, and I'm finding the support slow and quite frankly inadequate. But I am very frustrated with it at the moment so I could be ranting!

I'm using the support section...It's like a forum I guess:

Only 'JMB jeremy' seems to answer any questions tho.

Up until buying the toplistx I thought his software was great but I too found the toplistx confusing and have more or less abandoned the toplist..

AFAIK JMB is a one man band. I'd offer to help as Ive used his stuff extensively over the years, but have yet to try any of this new capery :geek:

I sympathise It is confusing I agree, I feel what I am trying to achieve with the list isn’t ‘way-out’ or extravagant yet I am running up against problem after problem.
At the moment my toplist is all messed up, and the support is nowhere to be seen.

Never had any problems with JMB and as JP says it is a one man band run by Jeremy himself. I usually find if you post a support question on the forum it is answered the next day, especially with the time difference.

You can usually private message Jeremy a login to your installation and he will have a look around and fix any problems that are there.

Having been used to the Autorank products right from the start I found ToplistX completely different and it took me ages to work out how it worked. I still haven't fully mastered it but think I now know the basics on how it works.

Their support seemed quite good and quick last time I contacted them, but mostly I have a guy who deals with my TGPx stuff these days...

I used to get replies within 24 hours for years.

However, my last 2 emails (separate issues over a 4 month period) have been totally ignored.

Hi, he aksed me for the FTP details and said he is going to take a look at my site and see what the problem is. I guess I cannot ask for more than that.
