Twitter raises $35 million (http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/02/13/twitter-raises-35-million/)
dot-com bubble 2.0, anyone?
$35 million investment when they weren't even looking for an investor! and twatter has no revenue streams at present, denfinately dot-com bubble,2.0.
I can't see that the point of twatter anyway it's just full of the innaine ramblings of geeks and wannbe geeks who have no friends and want to share their shit with other twatters.
btw Damien will be pissed off you beat him to posting this one:reading:
it's a neat tool to grab some extra targeted traffic. so far. once they introduce revenue streams (read ads) they will piss of users.
interesting to watch that one.

What targeted porn traffic?
any kind of traffic, basically. just come up with a suitable character and microblog away. google obviously loves twitter. i started a new one this week, within 2 days it was listed high for the main term used on it. you can have links sending surfers your way.

Yea I had a another look at it last night and whilst I stand by my original view of the twitters, well a good majority of them anyway, I can see the potential of twitter but I just can't work out how they will monetize it. Filling it with advertisers will just create a geeky watered down version of facebook and take it away from its original purpose.
They are open to adult as I see there are some 20 pornstars that twitter.

I was going to ask what is twitter? but thought I would go to the site to see. The first thing I saw was a question..."what is twitter?" unfortunately I still have no idea.

For those that can't be arsed to look at the twitter site here's how it describes itself under the sub heading What is twitter?
Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

i thought twitter was just a sort of comunity online sms (text) service. as you are limited to only a short text rather than pages of stuff.
thus while its popular i fail to see how it can make money as i think people have it on there phones and such as pure text.
the only way i have ever seen such sites make money is data capute from when people sign up and then sell that data to marketing firms.
mabe they see it long term investment.
take a big site add a small advert to make a few dolloars.
but then build up the site and more things to it to become even more popular and over the next yearsit may make a profit.
lets face it, firms spend a million or more on single adverts during the superbowl. mabe thats where they see firms spend cash soon. rather on tv, but on the net. and if your site gets millions of people, you can get your ads to more people.

i use tinytwitter, which is just one of many mobile frontends for it, so no need for SMS shite, and it allows me to read like i was using the regular webinterface. plus, texting still isn't that big in the US, AFAIK. doubt many twitter users are on phones that wouldn't support interwebs these days.
Thanks Psl.

you couldn't be more wrong. twitter has been going since a few years now and for some reason just takes off massively.
it's another tool you could, for example, use to interact with your site members. set up an account in the name of the model, restrict access to the updates to authorized readers only and off you go. or have a light version that doesn't link to hardcore material and use it to gain followers. the updates are available as an RSS feed as well. loads of possibilities. like every tool it may not work for you though.
But seriously, it seems like some mad stalker type thing, people posting day to day stuff (Crap basically) & you sit there & watch their worlds unfold ?
madness, innit.
imagine they took it to TV. call it Big Brother? nobody would watch it.
Currently searching using keywords, the plot thickens !

Right, Im looking at someones profile, now those messages, that's it right ? there's nothing behind them (Not when I click them) so, they just post a sentence with a bit of bollox & that's that ???
Can you post URL's in there then ? (Or too spammy?)
:)
you can post URLs, you might want to use tinyurl or something though, to not waste characters. or you use an own short domain with redirects.

the problem with such sites is that they seem to have a shelf life of around 2 years when they are most popular.
it was myspace now its facebook, then twitter (mabe) then along will be somthing else thats new and while the other sites will be used they will be used far less.
put it this way i used to use myspace a lot. but now i do not use it and only log in when somone has sent me a message then leave. i find it dull now.
its one thing to say you have x million registered users but then its how many use the site.
its like yahoo was the king of seach engines, now its google. one day some 8 yeart old will develop somthing thats far better than google and google will faid away a bit.
the other thing about these sites is that many users are about 11 years old. they are the ones who use the sites. but of couse being 11 they only have pocket money and so not big spenders.
its the parents that are the spenders and i wouyld suspect far fewer 40 year olds are interested in such as twitter and such sites. they may use them to only a fraction of what kids do.
People don't seem to have many followers on there or follow too many others.. maybe that was just the few profiles I looked at ?

its basicly a mini blog.
sound dull.
there are some uses though.
i heard some people use it to post results of experiments as they happen to share with others who are into those experiments.
people can see the results in real time and keep up to date.
also a law student said she used it as they posted the latest laws and updates in real time which she found to be of great use.
so you can see it can have some uses.

:)
there are profiles with 3 and 4 digits followers, i assume amongst the suggested ones (when you sign up) are 5 and 6 digits. haven't looked at them, so couldn't tell.
for the SE results it doesn't really matter, as the profile URL and the links in your updates show to everyone, follower, no follower or not even signed up.

The post that was put up on my account was lets say 'in the style of' Damians posts. There is also a facility to 'follow' other users on Twitter and as of yesterday I was, via my account, 'following' Damians day to day activities on Twitter and whilst we may go head to head on here a)I have more important things to do than be kept up to date on his day to day innaine ramblings and b) I cound't give a flying fuck what he gets up to.

Who would hack our PM system to log in to your twitter account to pretend to be Damian?
My guess is you use the same email and password for many things and you didnt think about someone who has had them in the past using them. my guess is an old enemy or a friend who has log ins you use and who doesnt like Damian. And at this moment I stand by what I said in my first post. Now there are other possibilities but he is still in the frame. Interesting how you would guess that I use the same passwords and the same email addresses to login into different accounts but ya wrong. I dont' give away passwords I allowed someone I trust to use them and I didn't and I don't have a problem with SD using any of my passwords as I trust him as I trust others on here.
My enemies, the ones that I know of, wouldn't piss about with something like this but then again if they did why would they put Damian in the frame as he would have to be their enemy too and I doubt that would be the case.

I'd assume the only people who can read PMs are the admins here, and AFAIK Damian's not one of those.
I'd assume the only people who can read PMs are the admins here, and AFAIK Damian's not one of those.
That is correct. sort of, the only account that can read PM's is the master admin account. Not even mods can read PM's and there is no hack that I know of, though JP is having a look now
And at this moment I stand by what I said in my first post.
Its up to you if ban anyone but I stand by what I have said.
Damian has to reply which I find very strange.
I PM'd him a link to the original post you made this morning when he was online to see what he had to say
the problem with such sites is that they seem to have a shelf life of around 2 years when they are most popular.
it was myspace now its facebook, then twitter (mabe) then along will be somthing else thats new and while the other sites will be used they will be used far less.
put it this way i used to use myspace a lot. but now i do not use it and only log in when somone has sent me a message then leave. i find it dull now.
its one thing to say you have x million registered users but then its how many use the site.
its like yahoo was the king of seach engines, now its google. one day some 8 yeart old will develop somthing thats far better than google and google will faid away a bit.
The idea that sites are only popular until something better comes along is valid, but only to a point because it's predicated on the false assumption that new sites can offer significantly improved benefits to users over the established competition, ad infinitum.
Eventually, a site comes along that dominates its field and which competitors find it hard to improve upon. People find the site does exactly what they want it to do and see little reason to go elsewhere. Amazon and Google are examples of such sites. Since when have either of them faced any serious competition?
In social networking, Facebook could possibly be such a site, but they need to address the issue of application spam because this is starting to cause some users to leave. It's certainly better for social networking than MySpace, which seems to be less about networking and more about shouting.
What targeted porn traffic?
None at all. (http://coedmagazine.com/2009/01/07/10-porn-stars-who-twitter/)
I'd carry on slagging it off for 6 months then do a u-turn and say it's great. Like you did with email marketing.
Lets see how quick twitter respond to complaints.
As you can see from this thread that I sent via PM, my username and password to SD so he could look around twitter without siging up.no problem there then.
All was well until to the strangest thing happened, Damian got hold of my login details. Now some may think this is funny but I don't,twitter don't and I don't think the likes of Hustler will be pleased to find out that someone they entrust their client database to for email marketing logs into peoples account on twitter changes the password and then makes posts.
Damian that was a very silly thing to do, delete the post, change back the password in the next 30 mins and I will forget it happened.
LOLOLOLOLOL
People don't seem to have many followers on there or follow too many others.. maybe that was just the few profiles I looked at ?
:)
Look at the number of followers man!
http://twitterholic.com/
The evidence is the fact that I can't get into my account because someone has changed the password, someone has also posted to the account, the style of that post was in Damians style and the fact the option to 'follow' Damian was chosen. At this moment Damian is in the frame but I still need to know how the login details got out. I only sent them to SD via PM so does the PM system on here leak/ or is it hackable? or who has access to the PM's? I have to look at all possibilities. If some one has set up Damain then it is a shit thing to do but knowing what he is like I am suprised he hasn't come on here threatening to sue me for making the accusations. It could also be that someone hacked twitter and changed the login details and chose Damian at random to be the fall guy but I doubt that happened.
I'm not suing you for this. I am fucking pissing myself laughing.
Best amusement I've had for a while.
Keep it up.
If you are running 4000 - 5000 affiliates your mail might only reach half of them and if you are spending £100k a year + running affiliates with new tools etc then that is just bad business?
If you're having 50% deliverability to your affiliates, you need to find a new email service provider. I run at 99%.
Look at the number of followers man!

Thanks & well yes, massive figs but that's gonna kinda be obvious given that most of those names we've all heard of, i.e they're celebs/politicians, etc,etc with an already offline following.

It bloody ain't, I'm still siting here trying to make this Twitter thing a worthwhile thing to sign up to, just can't see how to make bunce from it ?
From what I remember being in there yesterday, you send out a bloody short message (140 characters max?), they read it & that's that, you then go do something else & repeat the process, inbetween all that you can sit & watch the screen to see how exciting everyone elses life is ?
Sounds like Im taking the piss but I'm not (Although refering back to MObscene earlier, yes, I agree, DVT should get one, the thought of reading his message of 140 random characters, then trying to decifer it BEFORE the next one arrived 10 mins later would indeed be a giggle)

Damian (Or anyone) I like this Twitter thing but how can I utilise it to make money ?

I've made money from it by getting a new client via it. Lots of B2B porn people are now using it. See that other board for LOADS of threads on it.
From a surfer POV, as stated, google loves twitter (frequently updated, relevant content), so you can get SEO stuff done with it easily.
It's about to hit the tipping point with mainstream, when it does, it will be very big.
The 35 mill they raised was not from idiots. Biz Stone has hinted at the rev stream for the company (charging businesses to use it to keep in touch with customers - jet blue has lots of followers, as does whole foods for example). But also Mr Stone is painfully aware that just putting ads in a stream wouldn't be acceptable to the users.
I'm not suing you for this. I am fucking pissing myself laughing.

"Twitter has many appealing opportunities for generating revenue but we are holding off on implementation for now because we don't want to distract ourselves from the more important work at hand which is to create a compelling service and great user experience for millions of people around the world. Seriously though. i have just looked at it.. and I can see why its causing a fuss.. A simple way for people to tell everyone "what they are doing"
if thats your thing..
How its a good thing for porn "B2B" however I am lost ..if you know who's messages you are looking at I would think that you know their phone number. or am I missing a social side to it where ou can find people in your area of business.
Maybe at a certain business level it could be a good thing.
But if i tried to "twitter" anyone that we deal with on a day to day basis.
They would want to know if we had left school yet. and when we do. Contact them then
I just had an idea for Twitter :noway2:
Lets say you're a big time Paparazzi in London.
Now, you start a Twitter account & spread the word that you will pay a reward to anyone who "Twitters" you a celeb sitting first.
So, you got all your followers, all up & running, you're (That's you, Mr Paparazzi) strolling down the Kings Road on a wet Tuesday when suddenly in comes a message from someone,it's comming to your mobile, it reads:
George Clooney in Harrods food hall right now!
You leg it to Harrods, pap Mr Clooney as He's leaving, then flog the picture via Splash/Rex etc,etc
Finally you contact the person who tipped you off about G.C. & send Her a few bob.
This all assumes you can send & recieve everything Twitter via a mobile device, which I think you can ?

No, if you follow what's going on in the valley, there has been very little VC money going around. Angel funding has all but gone. Very few IPOs. Nowadays, to get any funding you really have to have a good idea and good business model. And, importantly, established a user base .

You need to read the real news a bit more. Right now the world is full of companies and investors who threw money down "can't loose" holes on the basis that someone else already had, only to loose big time. Once an investment is considered a "no brainer" its days are usually numbered.
The worlds starving will not be saved by glorified text messages. It's a mild idea, that will be duplicated, undercut and done better by something newer and hipper next week. Something that's probably going to be given away free.
Anyway, I really must check my Fiends Reunited profile...

So you think IVP are idiots that don't know what they are doing then?Well, I'm not tempted to put my money into it, that's for sure.
How many of these IPOs work on the basis that their grand plan is to collect enough users to sell themselves at huge profit to a weathly buyer like Microsoft? These businesses don't really have legs like a real business in that that they can charge their users and make a profit.
So they already have 1 million twatters (or whatever the collective noun is for them) but 1 million isn't enough to make a buck, and further more they need another 35 million bucks to kick start? Noooo, something's not right. That sounds like the council, not a business.
Thank you, but I'll pass.

Thanks for the link, He's a bit coy about how it's gonna make money, I know it's a trade secret & all that but, hmmm, I dunno.
What you gotta remember with IVP ( & other Vulture Capitalists) is that they invest millions of $$$ in loads of companies, as you say, they IVP are in 300 already, in the hope that some, infact a tiny %, will actually work, afterwhich they walk away with a handsome return on the good ones, which are very few & a massive loss on most the others... it's throwing mud, hoping some will stick.

The question wasn't whether YOU would invest. It was asking if you thought the investors at IVP were stupid or not?
From the experience of the past decade or so, a huge proportion of VC investments have been very stupid indeed. The story of Facebook, Youtube, etc. has been of exciting, viral, fast-growing new applications which (when push comes to shove) can't find revenue streams that match up to the hype. I don't see why Twitter should be any different.
OTOH, $35m is a fairly small investment if you're assuming Twitter is going to take over the world. I'm guessing they see this as high-risk and unlikely to provide much return, but with a small chance of a massive return if Twitter can actually find a way to make lots of money.

But this is what gets me, these companies that start up with no idea how they're gonna make a return, they simply *hope* that they can adapt it to make money once it's up & running & gathering momentum, invariably they can't.
& why $35 million, for what ? whats the money to be used for ? who came up with that valuation ? Who would invest in anything that doesn't make money or more worryingly doesn't appear to know how the company they're investing in are gonna make it.
On a side note I see that ITV are gonna dump Friends Re-united, they wont get anything like back what they paid for it, the reason "It doesn't fit in with our core business model" .... no shit Sherlock, did it ever ?

20 uses for twitter:
Top 20 uses of Twitter
Micro-blogging - every major blogger is also on Twitter. Followers often become subscribers.
Sharing favorites - using one of the many url-shortening services such as tr.im, it’s easy to quickly share links to blog posts, images or videos.
Networking - as people learn about you and what you have to share, they will follow you and become part of your network. The same is true for you, and you’ll meet more and more people who share your interests.
Strengthening your network - by networking with someone in more than one medium, you create more bonds between you. Meet on Twitter with people you know from the real world, email, forums, etc.
Promotion - when you or better yet, someone else in your network, shares your links. There are also services like Twitturly that will automatically republish links, getting yours even more exposure.
Learning - with so much free sharing of information and links to more sources, regular Twitter users get educated daily.
Finding jobs - if you offer a service, your followers will want come to you first. If you job search on Twitter, your followers can send you job leads or you can learn about them from people you’re following.
Getting answers - once you have your own network following, be a proactive learner by asking questions to your network and getting some of the fastest answers anywhere. Or use Twitter Search to use Twitter like one massive focus group.
Polling - a quick question to your whole network is a good way to gauge current trends or fads.
Interviewing - by interviewing someone in public this way, many people get to follow the replies. A good attention-getter for both the interviewer and the interviewee.
Group conversations - part of a team or club? Using a service like tweetworks makes it easy to use Twitter for group chat, panel discussions, focus groups, etc.
Conferences - the Israeli consulate in New York held a conference on Twitter to answer questions about Israel’s incursion into Gaza.
Announcements - A few lines is all it takes to announce the launch of an event, product or service.
Breaking news - during the first hours of the Mumbai terror attack, local twitterers were the most updated news source.
Life updates - these are worth twittering if there’s an extra point of interest for followers such as a discovery (’new restaurant in town!’), recommendation (’they’ve got great service’) or useful information (’they’re closed on Saturdays’).
Protect your online reputation - there are lots of tools for managing your online reputation, but at the speed news travels on Twitter, you need to be able to react in case someone says something bad about you.
Contests - more and more contests are appearing on Twitter, giving away prizes for people who twitter a certain message or follow a specific Twitterer.
Charity - for example, Twitterers joining Twestivals are coming together “to raise money and awareness for charity: water.”
Streamlining your electronic inboxes - communicating via Twitter will often result in less email, messages on Facebook or IM, and so on.

Whats the difference? If you are venture capitalist the ONLY reason to invest is for it to pay off and be a good investment.
The ONLY way it can pay off is if they sell it on to a bigger idiot, but no way on earth will they repay the 35 million with sales. Go ask AFF.
My point, if I have one, is that its probably more fun and and more useful to users than its ever going to be in sales terms to the owners. But that doesn't mean users will pay. The day it costs, everyone will vague out and use something else.
I'd certainly be happy to pay around the same amount as MSN and ICQ currently cost me.
Whats the difference?
Well, one is me asking if you think they are idiots, the other is me stating I think it's a good idea.

So Damian, do you think it's a waste of cash or not ?

I think it's over-valued.
Although that doesn't mean Twitter is a shit idea, per se.
I think they value of the eyeballs twitter has is miscalculated. Biz Stone has hinted that one rev stream is to charge companies to post. That makes sense. It will never be the case where they can charge users, but if they worked out a palatable, personally relevant ad model, I can't see it pissing THAT many people off.
The growth is exponential. There are people there. There is money there. I imagine the VCs and Mr Stone are aware of future plans. But, when you look at things like YouTube and Amazon's lack of profit, you kinda think Twitter needs more than two years for the market to work out of there is gold in them there tweets.
Personally, I find it great for tech news, funny posts, interesting URLs and networking. I got an interview on SiN2.0 podcast via twitter. I'm connecting with many US porn people using it. And I think it's fun.
I think it's more about WHO you follow rather than what you tweet.
So who did hack twitter? :scooby-doo:
I can think of two people it could have been. One of them doesn't like me very much.
Either way, I am sure JT and JP will take the (albeit amusing) allegations that have happened in this thread seriously.
I am enjoying reading www.twitter.com/northernidiot in the meantime though.
Thanks Damian, some on the list would be tricky with a maximum 140 charachters though.
sort of comes down to the art of writing catchy headlines, doesn't it. plus a link to a more detailed piece of text, if need be.

Lets look at the evidence.
1) psl gives his friends his passwords and probably uses similar or generic passwords, so probably a mate of his could probably work it out if he wasnt given it, which he may have been. So lets look at who is friends with PSL
2) The person who posted on his twitter pretended to be Damian so he could try and drop Damian in it, so lets look at Who doesnt like Damian. In fact who is obsessed with damian

I would suspect you will bump this thread as often as you change your IP address.
2pm Sunday I pass my login details to someone I trust via PM.
2.38pm the guy tells me he has logged out, via PM.
Now between 2.38pm and 9.20pm when I accused you in my post the password on my account was changed.Monday morning the account delete option was excercised right after I was asked if the post I had made was serious or not,I don't have an exact time when the account was deleted.
The post made on my account before it was deleted was in your condescending smart mouth style and the option to follow you and your innaine ramblings on Twitter was also excercised.
I made the accusation against you based on the above information and I am man enough to stand by it.If I get proved wrong in my accusations I will apologise and I will take the consequences and if JT and JP decide that as part of those consequences I am banned from here then there is nothing I can do about it.
Carry on belittling Northerners by promoting that shite on Twitter as it shows you in your true light, a sad spineless man that wouldn't have the bollocks to say anything like it to a Northerners face but you are 'man' enough to promote it in the safety of the online world.

I shan't correct all the spelling mistakes in that as I can tell you are annoyed or drunk.
However, how does this even vaguely provide anything vaguely resembling evidence to prove your slander?
And why on earth would I follow my own account if I did hack it?
I made the accusation against you based on the above information and I am man enough to stand by it.

If I get proved wrong in my accusations
Actually, it's now up to YOU to prove your slanderous lies on here. Not up to anyone to prove you wrong.
So, go ahead, and explain how you know it was me that hacked your account. So far, you have not done anything resembling this.

I started a couple days so 4. Not many. I don't care too much. It's helpful for venting and sprouting my mad random thoughts, which seem to be coming in the hundreds lately. It's great, I think about something very stupid, something I couldn't dare say without being publicly ridiculed and I can tweet about it. It's perhaps something for us simple minded people but I enjoy it. I don't do it for money, or would even think to use it for making money, couldn't really see how it was possible unless you had hundreds of followers and even then. I suppose there are ways and means for everything.

They are talking about it a lot on the radio and apparantly Stephen Fry updates his hourly or something..
But from what I can gather, Its a way of people who don't like daylight or face to face dealings with real people. to communicate and let other people with the same afflictions know what they do in their uninteresting lives on an hourly basis.
Just another way of them smugly telling the world how great there life is, and how right they are on every subject, and how they know things long before us mortals..
while everyone else's life is just shit..
Does that help

Did you not read the part in a previous post where I said it would take between 5-7 days then?
I have however been talking to some interesting techy guys whos' knowledge of the interwebs is quite astounding and they have a few options for me to explore to help the situation along.
My thoughts on twitter if anyone cares:
People who made it have been paying attention for sure. When Orkut came out I found it fascinating that people liked it's Scrapbook, they still do! You could easily chat with your buddies using MSN/ICQ but hell no, it is much cooler if everyone can see what you are talking about with your friends. Maybe even other friends join in if they see something interesting you are chatting about.
vkontakte.ru , Russian biggest Orkut/Facebook clone also seems to enjoy benefits of this "Scrapbook". Actually if you look at it then the most frequently done and most successful thing these social networks have is this scrapbook concept.
And what has Twitter done? They took the best part of these social networks and made it even better with adding cellphone and whatnot support. Since people already liked that "Scrapbook" concept before they don't have a problem with using it.
Orkut is more about checking your friends photos, finding out who are your friends friends.. more about networking
Twitter is more about fast communication.
Great way to share frequent random thoughts indeed but imho they should remove the text limit... people would post random short crap anyway but they wouldn't be frustrated when they wanted to say something but couldn't because there was some stupid char limit.
Some cut outs from Wikipedia:
Twitter has been used as a "social justice tool" to connect groups of people in critical situations. On April 10, 2008, James Buck, a graduate journalism student at UC Berkeley, and his translator, Mohammed Maree, were arrested in Egypt for photographing an anti-government protest. On his way to the police station Buck used his mobile phone to send the message “Arrested” to his 48 "followers" on Twitter. Those contacted UC Berkeley, the US Embassy in Cairo, and a number of press organizations on his behalf. Buck was able to send updates about his condition to his "followers" while being detained. He was released the next day from the Mahalla jail after the college hired a lawyer for him.
Research reported in New Scientist in May 2008 [49] found that blogs, maps, photo sites and instant messaging systems like Twitter did a better job of getting information out during emergencies such as the shootings at Virginia Tech than either the traditional news media or government emergency services. The study — performed by researchers at the University of Colorado [disambiguation needed] — also found that those using Twitter during the fires in California in October 2007 kept their followers (who were often friends and neighbors) informed of their whereabouts and of the location of various fires minute by minute. Additionally, organizations that support relief efforts are also using Twitter. The American Red Cross uses Twitter (http://twitter.com/RedCross) to exchange minute-to-minute information about local disasters, including statistics and directions.[50][51] In October, 2008 a draft US Army intelligence report identified the popular micro-blogging service as a potential terrorist tool. The report said, "Twitter is already used by some members to post and/or support extremist ideologies and perspectives."[52][53] The first trades union Twitter service was launched by the news and campaigning website LabourStart in June 2008

Given your atrocious maths (and thinking) skills, that was pretty close. Actually a 900% growth rate would be a growth of 27 users on top of the original 3, giving a total of 30.
But you're within a respectable margin of error, which, with your record, is something for you to be proud of. Well done you, and here's the remedial maths gold star.

psl obviously had a VERY high profile twitter account and was compromised either by the phishing scam that happened a few weeks ago
http://mashable.com/2009/01/05/twitter-users-get-hacked/
or he was part of the targeted attacked haxx0rs at Digital Gangster carried out:
http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/01/05/following-the-twitter-hack-trail-to-digitalganster/
Clearly with the number of followers psl would have had, he would have been a prime target for one of these.
I've found Adam's twitter account!

You realise that the FBI deport (sorry, meant extradite) suspected hackers to the US? And they've got some free space in Guantanamo now...
Great, just what we need. Something new for the txt spk generation to thrive on.

good grief 13 pages.
i hate to think what will hapen when you find out it was me.
Ah sorry, no missed that.
What proof are you expecting Twitter to send you?
And can't wait to hear what your techy guy's (sic) have to say.
This will be very amusing.
I don't know what proof twitter will send.
Unfortunatley you will not hear what the techy guys have to say because they are not helping twitter as there is no combined effort. They will however help me with the situation later whichever way it turns out.
You will not be amused anyway.
Are you serious?
Very serious.

No shit?
you mean twitter are refusing to work with your l33t 'techy guys'?
Go on, give me a clue, vaguely what 'proof' do you expect to get from either the techy guys or twitter beyond an IP address?
(and your pals Davenport Liars know exactly what PROOF an IP gives. clue = none)
They will however help me with the situation later whichever way it turns out.
How do you figure that?
You will not be amused anyway.
I am fucking pissing myself laughing already.
Really, this is possibly the funniest thing that has ever happened to me online.
Do carry on. You have, what, 3-5 days left now to prove your allegations before you're banned. Do make the most of your time here.
xxx
Very serious.
This gets better and better. You used to make me laugh out loud with your posts, now you are making me actually laugh so hard a little bit of wee comes out.
Please, carry on.
(Give em enough rope eh?)

I am 133t if u need any help, my friend is Hax0r too.
Mind you when I was THE most followed person on twitter with 30K+ followers the bitches banned me. They then also rewrote their API because of me and wrote me a sarcastic email about it, gits.
No shit?

There you go again being a smart arse. The techy guys were never going to work with Twitter and as far as I know they don't know them so how Twitter could refuse to work with them I don't know.
So now you determine timescales now do you and not Twitter? When Twitter get back to me to me is when you find out, simple as that.
How I choose to use the techy guys in this situation is my business.
You decide who gets banned now do you? When did you buy the board then?It just shows what a arrogant prick you are.
Whatever happens you decided not to take it seriously and escalated it with that twiiter account directed at me.Do you honestly think that you are going to get away with that?Read into that what you want.
Funny things happen online, funnier things happen offline.:drink:
