View Full Version : Need a good dating site with accurate geo results to promote.

Any know of any?

Loaded cash and Ulust all point the geo ip results as the next city, which is annoying as I need to to be very accurate. Fling gets it right, but with my existing ratio of 1:7,000 I'm not touching that shit again, especially when they've refused payouts in the past.

Any recommendations? Ref links welcome :)

I was also gonna say fling... Not cause I'm an Aff.... I'm not... But the most 'correct' geo=ip results I see are from fling...

To be honest if your looking for decent geo-ip for the UK you are going to struggle I ve yet to find a decent geo database for the UK.
Which is why we ended up turning our geo-ip stuff off and just using post code and other info.
We can send your users to specific pages and areas if your interested in UK dating.

Yeah they do Ulust as I mentioned. Going with SpaCash, really nice sites and accurate :)

Hmm we have those too but only if you ask lol as they are quite annoying.

They convert well though don't they? Just been looking at SpaCash's Adult Meeter, but I don't think it would convert well as it has about 5 profiles on there haha. Could always flood the site myself!

Well we have 1000's and 1000's of UK profiles on our site!
If you send your traffic to us we'll give you geo-targetted landing pages and msn style pop ups etc.
Oh also did I mention we pay £50 just for signing up :cheer:
Only UK traffic currently though :geek:

Signed, just waiting for approval now :) It's not a huge amount of traffic but it's extremely good quality.

Hmmm towlie can you explain how your site uses credits? am i right in thinking 1 credit = 1 message? and you charge £9.95 for 10credits ?

The site explains it all but basically yes, it uses credits for messaging.....

Does Maxmind's Database have good UK Targeting? I ask because you can develop a server-side geo solution with PHP and Maxmind quite easily and then pass the metrics through the link to the dating site so they end up hitting the correct page.

I had vastly improved conversions (5-8%) with that other 'big' 3 letter dating site when I wrote my own targeting script and got updated databases from Maxmind monthly.

Just a thought.

Yes it does but it's shit for UK geo from all the tests we've run..... :reading:
