sorry, in answer to your question, the beauty of juicytv.nl (payment wise) is that they belong to a really well known public company in the US with cash and profits. as much as there are no guarantees in life at least they can't run and hide when payment comes due and they have invested in more than a webcam and a rented server to make this product happen.

The market for an adult-specific set-top box is doubtful. Millions of pounds have been spent by others in the UK, with the result of a base of a few thousand users. Lots of companies are giving up in this segment, adult and non-adult (note the repeated failure of Homechoice to create a base).

TBH Juicy TV probably knows the likely demand for his box in the UK, as he had one of the biggest and bestest stands at Erotica last year. But since he's not telling, I'm guessing the response wasn't too hot.

It was a bizarre response to say the least (IMHO, LOL, LMK, LMAO).

The couples who saw it loved it and had long conversations about how to string CAT5 to the bedroom, if wireless would work, homeplug, etc.

We sold 50 at the show (didn't expect to do more) but the follow-up was crap. Only 65 sign-ups versus a zillion (well technically speaking it was 30,000) flyers.

[Tiscali] was poised for a big roll-out of IPTV in the UK after its acquisition of Homechoice in 2006, but last year its Italian IPTV operations were shut down, casting those plans in doubt.
