had the worst day yesterday. The fish in my office fish tank had caught some kind of diesase and have been dieing on me at a rate of one a day.
Went to the pet shop last night to replace them coming back had my first car accident in 20 years of driving, some idiot pulls out from a garage into pretty fast moving traffic everyone brakes I hit some ice or something and end up shunting 2 other cars.
My front end is bolloxed, Ive got fish all over my back seat and the wifes done her back in
some days, you just have to go back to bed.
ouch, hopefully nothing too bad with her back?

Hope the missus gets well soon. Keeping fish is hard work I used to bread tropical fish then christmas 4 years ago I switch of the heater by mistake and lost my entire stock. Never was able to get back into it after that, was pretty upset as I lost around 300 quids worth of fish :(

wait till they have all died and flush the tank, its all in the water preperation, thats what takes time. My tropical ran for a month with nothing in it, then a month with plants then I added fish.
My cold water tank was a disaster, the fish kept getting an infection on their gills - little yellow dots, then they would bend like their spine was busted until they died.
Its lot easier with tropical fish you can ballance the tanks with bottom feeders and plants, add a crab to get rid of the dead ones and you never need to clean the tank again.
maybe your lass will get you one with her claim money :eyebrows:
