You never know how life turns out but I would have still been a landlord in the rental market because at 18 it gave you the time off for other things.

At 17 I had notions about being a helicopter pilot with the Navy.

Then realisation dawned that the role involved following orders, so I stopped thinking about careers and did a degree. And then a second degree. And then, like many others of the same generation, I stumbled into IT.

now that's an interesting one, what changed your plans if i may ask?

i recall wanting to become a vet till about 12, when i saw how a vet treated a constipated cow. he really should have used a glove. a big glove.

I haven't necessarily changed my plans - still a good few years to go before I hit retirement age :eyebrows:

Wow - that was my choice! Somewhere warm obviously, not Scotland or somewhere cold and rubbish like that. I blame it on Jacques Cousteau.

it's prolly one of the most exciting things to do, we dunno half about the sea that we know about stuff outside this planet. which is rather embarassing. wanting to set foot on other planets when we dunno exactly what's going on here. finding out that the giant squids do in fact exist was just the latest proof how little we know.
