Something really odd happened this morning.
On one of my phones I have BT call minder. I got a call this morning, saying I had a message. The message was from a text that my girlfriends mum text me by mistake. The computer women said the text message that she had sent.
Ive never seen even heard of that before. Was a bit freaky. Wonder if it works on all land lines or just because I have BT call minder?

I think a lot of the new landline phones support texting. You could text landlines in Spain for years now. We have just put in a new Philips digital system here that does tons of things but I have lost my glasses and cant read the fu@#ing instructions. :mad:

My missus sent me a few a while back and i thought it was some sort of cold calling so hung everytime.
This is not new I have known about if for a long time. All you do is write your text and send it to a landline number. The phone will ring and you get the computer bird speaking. If you don't answer it it will go through to your call minder, if you have it.
Of course we all like to hear the dirty slut swearing and talking dirty, or is that just me :lmao2:

Yeah, my mum doesn't have it and if she doesn't answer it then I think it's lost, unless they try sending it later, don't know
