Do you have a minium mbps commitment with them? Obviuosly the more you commit to the cheaper it should be.
I got 6 servers with 3 different hosts and pay varying amounts with each host.

Yes I agree does seem to good to be true...just heard a few good things over on the video boards about them. I was thinking of using them just for movie galleries and such take some of the load of my other servers. I may wait till after xmas and give them a go.

Yes used them for about a year now, I cant see me moving my main stuff anywhere else Im happy with them.

Jupers I use phatservers top notch support even at 4am on a sunday uk time, always someone on hand to make shit worky when it don't for what ever reason.

I also have a few boxes at the Global switch noc in NL, cheap cheap prices ta boot just above wholesale.

We have our own 20 server rack with dedicated load balancer with EV1 Servers - www.ev1servers.net - good service and great prices, only downside is you need to manage the servers yourself, but if you can manage that they come highly recommended.

Before you do because your thinking same as I used to "there too expensive" I ALWAYS had that impression as when I first came into online work they where more of the "high end" hosting market, advertising in all the UK computer mags etc, BUT the other day I saw something that blew me away, and I am going to be making some big moves for me and some clients onto a nice couple of servers with them -

But, I cant see any thing wrong, with 100MBPs Pipe server for 50 pounds a month, so thats what $100 a month? I havent seen that price for that setup anywhere whatsoever, AND you can pay monthly AND you can have NO setup fee if you sign up for 12 months minimum paid monthy,

Seriously I checked out everythin for about 2 hours, looking tosee if there is any small print etc and there seems to be none,
So if anyone thinks this isnt a good deal let me know why please and show me better, as next month unless I learn differently i am taking this deal -

Nearly half of what i planned on moving is adult yes, thanks a lot for pointing that out for me, I spent ages looking for something lke that but couldnt find it, I still havent yet but I'm just reading through all the Tc again now.

I am not sure if I am right but is 100mbs like somewhere round 33,000 GB BW a month?

Fuck it if they dont allow adult, but usually that implication is from some cheesy host who knows that most sites wont burn much more than a gig or two and they never had no intention of allowing more but adult would, if 1&1 is gonna let me burn 33,000 a month I dont see what differenceit makes to them if thats 33k of Hardcore porn pics or 33k of Biscuit pictures?

unlimited as such is impossible, as there are always restrictions on the hardware side. a switch can only transport so much data. sure, it's a massive amount, but still it isn't unlimited.

and if something is a genuine unlimited offer if you dont burn that more than that you mention the limit yourself, 'if you don't burn more than that'. it's an offer that suits your needs, it isn't unlimited though. :)

I havent found anything specific yet that says one way or the other but probaby I am gonna speak to soomeone from there in the next couple of weeks before christmas and find out then.

And about the adult thats why I never noticed it, I scanned through the terms, spent most of the time looking for the usual " if your stuff starts using up too much system resources blah blah blah " that comes with most too good deals and missed the non adult, I really cannot understand why they wouldnt allow adult, only thing I can think of is simply because of the profile of the company they dont want to be assoiciated with adult,
