ccbill...

why the fuck are there always so many maintenance periods, at the moment they are in the middle of a 4 hour one, so webadmin is completely fucked, most of it not working, or if it does its really intermittant,

but what i dont understand, is that there are like 2 each week, what maintenance are they doing that leaves gaps in their programs lfunctionality like this?

ccbill - you fucking suck!!! but i am stuck with you!!! arghhhhhh

We do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and we always invite you to contact our support if you need anything during a maintenance window.

We are constantly trying to improve our systems which is why sometimes brief periods of downtime are required. This almost always only pertains to the reports and admin functionality though. This latest maintenance had no impact on our ability to process transactions whatsoever.

Our last maintenance window was on September 15th and only during emergencies would we schedule maintenance more than once per week.

Can we be friends again?

I have left you a message on your icq. I would like to discuss this with you and how you are getting these dates because we have not performed system maintenance on the dates you listed. Perhaps something else is going on here.

we are talking ccbill only here...

i have got these dates from the webadmin area and the news section that your company post to let all us webmasters know when there is intermittant issues with webadmin.

so i am not pulling these dates out of my ass, i am listing what your company says is maintenance time on your servers....

who mentioned ECSuite????

Ccbill have had a big issue recently - Would have been more than reasonable for them to let us know -
Tracking has been all to cock and form hits/submissions/confirmations were not logging correctly from 26th Sept to Wed this week -
I am certain many sales were also lost during that time - I had my worst sales run for over 10 years - back to normal now -
sunday, my stats showed three affiliate sales before any new sales were logged - at the end of that day, those affiliate sales remained, but I could not trace them from new sales or rebills -
Of course, after contacting ccbill, got the same stock answer I suppose Yanks are used to and will gullably believe - :
"Yes - we know the tracking is out and we know the affiliate sales are wrong - we are working on it now - BUT ALL SALES ARE BEING RECORDED" -

Really?

FUCKING BULLSHIT - They were either being lost or not rcorded -

ccbill paul, how about some answers?

maybe you fancy logging in to webadmin and taking a look at what your company is posting about maintenance periods twice a week !!! what is it? an emergency every week then?

Atomic Playboy, I have sent you multiple icq messages but you did not respond. I have checked each of our maintenance logs and the dates you put above do not match our CCBill maintenance windows so that is why I have asked you to hit me up with further information.

Honestly I thought this thread was simply to complain so that is why I have not posted more. I have also sent a message to Cardinal Sin but have not heard back from either of you.

If my messages have not made it to you please hit me so I can see exactly where you are getting your information.

i never said it was down completely, i said it was intermittant! (dont know if that spelling is right, someone correct me)

which is a bit fucking annoying if i am honest considering the amount of fucking money they have off me each week!

also, i am complaining because i fail to see the amount of work that they constantly have to do on a database that requires this level of maintenance, i have worked on some large databases for multi national companies and i have never witnessed maintenance periods of this magnitude across networks twice a week (well they are denying that - that only happens in an emergency)

Thank you for the screen shots. I apologize I was looking at the wrong maintenance logs on my end.

We have been making modifications to our load balancing system during the last couple of weeks. Even if we are making the smallest of changes we put a post in the webmaster admin.

Our maintenance windows will become less frequent in the coming weeks and I am afraid that during these windows you may experience some issues in our admin area.

Its in 'The Middle' :)

Pacific is LA, Eastern is NY... MT is the 'Middle Bit' :) ie 1 hour more than LA one hour less than NY

3 Hour time diff from LA to NY :)
