to be honest morriasons has improved from a few years ago when a lot of stuff seemed rather poor.

they seem to have better fruite and veg than saisburys, tesco or asda.

In defense of Morrisons. They have a better range of Fresh, organic, and local food and a much better Fresh fish counter than the other supermarkets IMO of course..

I go to Morrisons, mainly because it's my nearest Super Market & I walk there as I don't own a car since Jerry torched it last year.

Morrisons is alright to be honest but you gotta get in there early before the Pensioners do otherwise you get stuck behind em shuffling around which can be a bit frustrating if you're an arsey impatient git such as I.

i think its because they have real butchers and stuff.

they have opted for fresh.

i think other places have simply got frozen in.

but as i do not eat meat i would not know.

but i must admit the fruit and vef is much better at the morrisons i go to. tesco seems not to be as good.

but the reason i go to the one i go to is for the huge salad bar. i fill up a big tub of fresh salad and thats my lunch. its better than eating some processed food. i seem to feel healther doing this.


also the morrisons bread sdeems nicest. asda used to be the best (and got awards in the past) but the morrisons i go to have much nicer fresher bread.

but not all morisons are as good. some are horrid.

my mate used to be a manager of morrisons (well assistant). he was well paid and did it several years but hated working nights. he left and now works for hbos (so juped into the fire with that).

It's just a Jewish holiday in the US. Of course, lots of legislators and Wall Street types are Jewish, so they won't be working and some places will close , but for most people things carry on as usual.

I don't think Congress is sitting because of the holiday, but no doubt the non-Jewish members will be continuing to have informal meetings.
