My router/modem died yesterday evening and it hit me just how lost i am without the interweb.
I knew full well the router was bolloxed but i tried like a madman to get the thing working for 5 hours.
This morning was even stranger not waking up and going straight into office to check on email etc with cuppa/ciggie.
New router is in place and i feel normal again.

I have a cheap D-Link one plus D-Link modem.
If you are on the net a lot (as in uploading and downloading files) they overheat, and do not work. They are a real pain, as you have to unplug them for 30mins.

Cool, that's just about enough time to 'off someone' down the local park before you have to reboot. :crown:
