Need to speak with my Bank HSBC 5 miles away
0845 local rate call.....
I pay a lot of money a month to have all business calls free but i have to pay to call my bank...
5 mins to determine i am who i say. have to input sort code, account number, date of birth, two numbers from passcode....Then give place of birth and Mothers maiden name..
Then have to listen to a menu of 9 things i dont need to speak with an operator IN FUCKING INDIA....with a medium grasp of English...
Who, guess what? Cant help, so needs to speak with my manager, 5 miles from me,, FROM INDIA ..No answer on all extensions so tells me to dial direct myself..Does she have the number as i am not worthy of the managers or branchs direct number. answer...NO she only has extension numbers..
so what do i have to do to resolve my problem..(to OK a transfer)
Call the 0845 number and start again...
So do i get in the car and drive the 5 miles and waste an hour (yes an hour to drive 10 miles and pop into bank as every fucker round here drives at 30mph MAX) of my time, which right now is valuable
or do i not bother and take the cash from a safe and just send it special delivery
Or do i stick hot rusty needles into my eyes as that sounds easier than dealing with HSB-fuckin-C

Fuck it give me a mask if i am going round there i am gonna make it worthwhile :onguard:

LOL... Next time you manage to get through and talk to someone at your branch.. Ask them for a direct number.. I'm surprised you don't have one now.. I have quite a few for mine..

We decided a few weeks ago to move everything offshore anyway. As we are new to the web and its a seperate and new business to our other things its easier.
be closer to our call centre then as well

By being nearer your call centre... You mean you're moving to India :) If so let me know when you're popping over to see your manager, as you can do a few shoots for me at the same time... LOL

Take a leaf out of DVTime's book and shove all your money in your matress and have your whippet guard it.

We set up a couple of accounts - one sterling, one USD - with Cater Allen this year. Pretty good experience so far. Well worth a look if most of your revenue is in dollars.
