I used to be able to pop and see my naybour around 11.30 if her boyfriend did not turn up from the pub.
Now she does not know when he could pop to see her.
So no flipping fun for me.
Dam those new drinking hours.
No nucky for me.

Sounds like she is using this law as a welcome excuse to get rid of you.

She drops her cloths if I pop over.
After all, she's only human. And I am super human (in bed).
weren't you sposed to present us with footage?
Your own sexual failures (;))aside, what about clubs?
I was in Brighton on Saturday at this awesome Hotel (http://www.hotelpelirocco.co.uk/) and went out to a club called Phonic Hoop after dinner and a few drinks. I've been before several times and it's been great.
But it was empty. Got there about 11. Nothing. Waited till 12.30, still empty. Excellent tunes, but litereally about 12 people there.
I thought to myself, is this cos the pubs are not chucking out?
Do clubs need to reinvent themselves to tempt people out of the warm cosy pub they are in just to carry on drinking?
I think they will.
Just a theory.

Just a theory.I do not think they will charge as much for going in.
It bugs me to pay £10 or more to go into a club.
This is a fiver. Which is ok. And you get in in jeans, trainers and a tshirt.
I am too old for clubs you have to wear the right clothes for and have a door bitch look you up and down in the q.
:)
I think a radical reinvention is needed. I don't think people would go if it was free.

There is no need to go to clubs in Brighton, the bars are the best in the UK, the clubs are pretty second rate. Even before the new licencing the bars were far better than the clubs

A lot of people would go to a club at 11 or 12 because the pubs are closed. This will hit clubs badly. But I think it's good news: it means clubs might go back to how they were 10 years ago: places for dance and music lovers (not to mention the odd class A), not full of pissheads.
I was just really surprised to hear your bars had to close so early before. Were all bars like that? Even nightclubs?
