are PPS with sponsors thing of the past?

been noticing a lot lately with signing up to sponsors you dont have the pay per signup options anymore, just recurring which I don't normally go for apart from some cam sponsors is this a trend?

Just wondering if they are newish sponsors as some you been with for ages still have it obviously!

If it is a trend then Kink.com are going against it, having recently introduced PPS.

and if I remember rightly some of those sponsors do have the PPS options but you won't get it till you sent x amount by recurring..

Maybe the sponsors are afraid the affiliates might shave in some way :noway2:

Maybe some Sponsors are only too well aware that some Affiliates believe the only way Sponsors can offer the larger PPS is by shaving, heaven forbid!

I think people are most sure in "revshare" cause they cant loose that way, PPS is an option more established sponsors have or people that know they can convert your user for sure to stay at least 2-3 month to cover the PPS price they are going to pay the end webmasters.

Back when I was sending traffic to programs I used to prefer PPS on the majority of the sites I promoted because retention is crap with most of the big programs. But I also preferred RevShare for the smaller programs with good content because they tend to update more and try harder to keep their members. Just my 2c

Maybe it's partly because the surfer/member has changed as well. He might not be as willing to sign up to another site from the original or he might not think this site is worth staying with for three months. He has to spend the money for you to earn it. Or you get shaved. LOL

The reason everyone is moaning today is partly because the surfer/member has changed. Who, why or what he changed to is your call.
