How refreshing to hear a politician using the language of the people...

did he say that?

i bet he is fed up with being told by brown what to say. he is a bit like the russan priminister, just a puppet.

lets face it, the mp's want to keep there jobs and know things are going to get worse under brown. after all they know this winter many will suffer with fuel costs, and lets face it those that will suffer are the ones who will vote labour.

wow he even said the bad p word too (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7589291.stm).

I bet he will be in bother now.

But I bet he also thinks, sod this, I do not want to be the one who takes the fall for brown. let him find some other mug to blame the economy on.

you would have to be brave now to want that job.

Indeed. The BBC website even contains a strong language advisory.

Upon reflection, maybe not such a good thing after all. Refreshingly honest, yes, but sets a bad example to a country which already swears too fucking much!

The people who spend tax payers money were taught by Gordon Brown to Spend, Spend, Spend. They have never been frugal with your money, I don't pay to that system anymore, but under Gordon Brown they were given even more money.

They are also allowed to charge for what was free or to cut back on services. You pay to drive into London and will probably pay to drive into more cities soon, many pay to park outside their house which they pay massive rates on and I'm sure you can think of more examples. Plus things like refuse collection are being cut, you paid for once a week and now they want to do once a fortnight. Is the money saved going into rates reductions?

No way it's going to support an over expanded system and with other examples it's clear more and more of your money goes into funding "public money" schemes the people can well do without.

Now with falling employment, failing economy and lower tax revenues prepare to face the consequences. Gordon Brown will hand David Cameron an economy in chaos. A chaos he created.

Just heard that a convicted killer of a head master needs police protection. Probably because the friends of the head master are obvious candidates for a revenge killing. :noway2:

Just another civil servant spending your money.

Adding to that Gordon Brown has bought in two very distinct policies that have created this.

1. About 10 years ago when he fucked everyones pensions, those people are now retiring with a lot less money to spend. At the time no one made a fuss about it, but it was a huge issue and one Gordon is personally responsiblefor.

2. Home Information Packs. No use to anyone, no one wants them, they do nothing apart from one thing. They stopped the speculators puting their houses on the market. People who thought, just see what happens. This caused the slow down in houses selling, the credit crunch came on the back of it and again Gordon is personally responsible for.

Labour inherited the best economy of any government in years and will be leaving behind the worst economy in the last 60 years.

I'm one of those with a pension and just found out the max I can take out of all of them is 25% and the rest over 20 years to me or my wife when I go.

The H.I.P. was another Labour gimmick. However all it did was take 500 GBP off the purchase price, no one paid more for a house. The only thing that controls house prices is the amount of money people can borrow. When banks were borrowing crazy prices went crazy. Now they stopped prices dropped. But still it takes thousands of civil servants to make sure the H.I.P. are being done.

If you want proof of waste look at your local Town Hall and see how many new offices they have bought, built or rented in the last 10 years. Are services any better?

No thats not all it did. When they introduced this HIP's nonsense, it had a very real effect on the housing market. Because it stopped all the "undecided" people putting their house on the market. Lots of people, use to put their houses on the market just to test the water. That has stopped. Go and ask any estate agent what happened and why they want it gone, gone at the very least in the short term to kick start the housing market. But apart from that, they also add more expense and bureaucracy to house buying. Which is having an effect on sales

Home Information Packs are making the house price slump worse and should be scrapped or reformed, according to estate agents and surveyors.

to be honest the idea was good, but for some reason what they came out with was junk.

i think its a good idea if your selling a house that the seller/esate agent has some info ready, ie a servey of the house. thats logical as it speeds up everything. but thats all they had to bring in. but instead they came out with a lot of guff that was a bit pointless and silly.

they have spent a lot of money on most services with no real imprvment.

such as the nhs which money went in then out the other end with not a great deal going to pationts.

the problem is that i do not think they can raise as much money as they did so now they are used to all this cash, where will they get the money from?

I like hips because without them my legs wouldnt be attached to my body.

The one sused for house sales aer bollocks as well.
And Brown and Darling just hinting they may allow a stamp duty holiday on all house purchases is slowing the market even further.
I think the house prices dropping are a good think.
