View Full Version : Problem with a model
I "inherited" a site featuring a known UK model appearing under another name. When I got the site I asked the model if it would be ok to add her known name on the site. She said she didn't want that so I left the site as it was. Anyway a few months later she rings up going off about how there are people promoting the site in google using her known name, how I said I wouldn't do that and basically acusing me of promoting the site with her name.
Now I just told her I wouldn't put her name on the tour because that is all I have direct control over. I never agreed to police the rest of the internet from using her more known name on this content. Saying that I probably would have tried to stop the affiliates doing it but she pissed me off basically acusing me and started swearing and shit.
It seems kind of ridiculous to me that you can expect to work as a model for sites under another name and have people not to recognise you by your more well known name. Since she already went off at me and blames me for people promoting her under her more known name I am thinking if I say I will deal with this then everytime it happens again its going to be my fault.
Has anyone had this kind of problem before? what do people think is the best way to handle the situation?
If the model is known by both names then there's not a lot she can do, specially if one is a variation of the other.. EG: Susan nd Susan Brown.. One is just an aka for the other as can be seen very clearly on the BGAFD under the modelk listings..
You have no control over your affiliates, and I suggest that if she is well known, that she should type in the name she doesn't want you to use on an SE, and she can see how many spammers use it for sites totally un-connected to either name..
It's a model, what do you expect? :) I can even tell you much more funny stories about them

I suppose what is on the model release would help, but having said that if you are not using her "real"name then it's not your problem.
Yes you can tell affiliates, and even have it in your terms, that they shouldn't use her real name to promote the site, but what is stop anyone from just puttin a link under her real name.
Tell her to get a grip and if she didn't want to be recognised then maybe not agreeing to a website would have been a good idea.
Tell her to grow a third tit so that she can deny that the pics are really her?

Sorry Johny, with all the problems and unknowns over 2257 we decided to close the content store. to be honest we never sold much, never pushed it, and i can earn more concentrating on onlytease than selling the content.
Sorry about that!
Cheers
Paul
