Weird blog posts

I keep getting the odd comment on one of my blogs, from posters such as "testanchor352" or "testanchor358". The IP goes back to Webair. I've Googled and this testanchor is very fond of posting on lots of blogs!

Anyone know about this? My suspicion is it's some kind of automated thing that seeks out blogs and makes a test post to see if the comments are moderated or not (mine are) - some of the ones I found on other blogs seem to have a lot of spam comments after the unmoderated test comment has appeared but I don't know for sure...

spam bot, most likely you will find hidden links to their site(s) in the posts. if not in the first post then it will start with one of the next. same shit happens with guest books. results in tons of links to them without any recips, pushing their link popularity.
