i meet a lot of husbands/boyfriends of models.
some get off on it and others do not care less.
but i think if you work in the biz then your not bothered.
its like me, if i had a girlfriend/wife who did porn, i would be encouraging her to eat well and keep fit as i know she would look better on camera and get more work.
although i would not want her to go bareback with strangers who are not certified (cough cough).
also i would not be gelouse. lets face it i know i have a small wickle that fails to operate on comand. plus i know i could not do those shots the pros can. so it would be silly of me to be gelouse.
to be honest i would think in truth it would be harder for a female to date or be married to a male porn star as i am sure that as the wife gets older she would be getting a wee bit gelose of the 18 year old he is having sex with. plus i bet for some male porn stars when they get home sex is the last thing they want.

most factories let you eat as much as you want as you soon get sick of the stuff and so never eat it.
i remember when i was at the cinima were were (in error) given boxes of free saples of m and m's. so we took a box home ach. for 3 days my diet was m and m'. after 3 days i could not eat one.
i supose its like me shooting porn, now i ust cannot be arsed with it.

As one might imagine...
although it's funny how Russ Meyer (although not really shooting hardcore) never lost interest... or so they say.
In fact, as his career progressed, his interest only intensified.
And he was married to a least 2 of his models/leading ladies (I think).

If i was making a film then i think you could relax a bit more.
after all his stuff was more fun.
plus he had the cash too.
plus he had others working for him.
but its a bit like those who work on tv, they are not ecited about seeing the stars.
its a bit like if you go online and watch nasa. if i got a ob there i would be running about shouting yopee, where are the aliens and cool robots. but the staff are not bothered. i watched them sit and eat donuts for two hours. i am sure i could see on one of there vdu screen a message saying, space station hit - send help.

The most obvious "complication" would be - ironically - running the risk of your wife having an affair with some other guy (or woman). All it takes is one fight, or saying the wrong thing at the wrong time... and then she finds a sympathetic shoulder to cry on at work. Then you're truly, uh... fucked?
Whereas if you happen to work at a place where most of the employees are unattractive...
(like most factories and offices)
Porn stars tend to have better than average relationships with "co-workers," as it's necessary to establish and maintain a good rapport if you expect to work productively together.
Garbo, on the other hand, ate loads of garlic and deliberately gave her co-stars the cold shoulder... to discourage any further dalliances after the cameras stopped rolling. (An extreme example, to be sure.)

I've never been married, just done long-term relationships. Never seemed to have the time or inclination to settle down with one woman. Having said that, I don't do unfaithful - once kissed someone (outside of a work situation which is different because work is always agreed with my partners as fair-play beforehand), anyway I kissed a girl in a club about 6 years ago whilst I was living with Sarah and I still feel guilty about it now. I think loyalty is important and if someone is happy to be unfaithful in one thing then maybe they'll be unfaithful in others?
In answer to the question though,.. yes, there have been quite a few significants in the past.
Goes with the jobs I've had I suppose.

Interesting question, and it all depends on the couple obviously. Some can handle it, some can't.
An example, I was on set the other week and after shooting 2 scenes one of our guys (one of the top studs in the country) was on the phone to his girlfriend who he lives with, one of the top porn stars in Europe and a seriously hot (and very nice) girl. Now, from the outside it seems these two would be the last people to have any insecurities about their partner's working day, but when our guy was in the lift all I could hear was him reassuring her that of course he loved her and that she was the only girl for him. They weren't having a fight but just having one of those conversations that all couples have, except of course our stud had been fucking two other girls all afternoon. The thing is, he really does love her, but despite the fact she's a world known porn star she's still a girl as well and all girls want to feel special, and that's a bit hard when your man is off fucking other women every day.

interesting that he would feel the need to be so reassuring. That would imply a certain measure of guilt.
It seems inevitable that there might actually be some real chemistry going on while "on the job" from time to time.
Have to use my imagination here, but there might actually be those times when it actually FEELS like work to the participants.
