everyone is posting saying sales such and its down to tube sites/weather/economy/leaves on the tracks.....

it reminds me when i did sales.

have the sales staff used to go on why they could not sell.

ok, there are factors why sales are down.

if your an affiliate, then your competing with hudreds of affiliates - often all promoting the same sites. some affiliates get thousands if not millions of hits these days so they are simply getting the cream of sales.

if your site is small then yes sales will be much harder, mainly as the sufers may already be members of the site your promoting or indeed have been members.

if your a pay site then it could be simply you have grown as big as you can. by this you have hiit the limit of how many members you can get each month. what i mean is if tesco open a superstor in an area, at a certain point it will come to a point that there will no longer be an icrease in customers, and posibly find some move on.

as bit like mcdonalds would be packed out a few years ago, but many do not have the customers they once did.

for new paysites its eather a question of your site sucks, and people do not realy want to join, or your not promoting it well enough. new sites should find sales increase each month. if they do not, it may be time to face up to the fact your never going to make a lot of cash from it, however well you think your site is.

There's only one reason for slow sales: the poor global economy. It's got nothing to do with tube sites or leaves on the tracks or anything else. People just don't have the free spending money they used to have.
