question about those little button thingies on blogs

my sis has made her first blog, (nothing to do with porn!) and she wants to add one of those little buttons to her blog from sites she visited and wants to add...how do you add them? is it automatic or do you have to save the image and upload it ftp ect? she using blogspot by the way, as for me my blogs or splogs rather have always been porn so used to adding text links rather then those little buttons :)

Pretty much the same way as any other image I expect, they either provide you with hotlinking code or you upload the image and add the html to the sidebar or via a widget.
