Just messing about with Flash videos & made this FHG (http://galleries.sterlingcash.com/1/vids/cd/flash/schoolgirlbj/) - design "inspired" by a certain well known site.

Good / bad idea? Will it get listed anywhere? Who is your daddy & what does he do?

I like it :) Not sure it will get listed if you sub it also, cos of the outgoing links, but as a FHG I think that'll do a job :)

Worth adding 'user comments' with reference to the members area making the clip look tame etc? Not sure what you'd fill up the corresponding space that would create with though.

I wouldn't be doing my own subs. All the outgoing links go to the site tour - are there too many or something?

I did consider adding "user comments" but I always think they look a bit fake. If there's nowhere to actually submit comments it's gonna be obvious they aren't genuine. Some surfers wouldn't realise or care, but some would. In balance I'm not sure it would help. I could always try it on a different template & compare performance though.

I think the gallery looks good. But I agree with JT, the links to tour could be changed around and perhaps sent to custom landing pages.

Yeah thought that might be an issue - NATS doesn't make it easy to send to different pages using the regular link codes but I'm sure it can be done. How about if I changed the wording to make it clearer that content is what they get if they join, rather than what they get if they click?

You can make the video play back fullscreen if you like - there's a fullscreen button on the far right hand side of the control panel. I'm keeping filesize in mind here as well so will probly stick with the current size. I think the pretty much instant playback makes up for the video not being huge.

God I fucking hate TGP rules - you'd think it would be enough to give them something that looked interesting and gave away free content...

Quantity might be a problem but as long as the main element, the flv, is long enough, you might get away with it.

I would, because it will make your conversion rate look worse, but in an ideal world a landing page with that content would be a good seller I would think

I'd leave as is, surfers get too much anyway, and if you have a few blind links on a fhg, who gives a fuck? It wouldn't fly if you were subbing it, but I would lay money the tgps et al who whack up fhgs anyway would welcome it.

However - make up shit loads as fhg's - they will work well for you - Try a few different styles and texts -

Yeah they're gonna be FHGs - no doubt i'll use some version of them for other sites, and will definately post some pantie ones as & when. Unless you require them to have 14.73 landscape thumbs no smaller than 56 pixels diagonal width linking to pics taken with a pinhole camera on the eve of the winter solstice in a leap year?
