OK I just flicked through some stats of sites I dont really build / submit for these days.
Theres never been issues with sales > rebills etc.
Traffic is really low though targeted enough to make regular sales. Recently I noticed I started to get like 3 US Cents per sale, about 1.7p as apposed to the £7.50 ish that the programme offers.
I have spoken with them and they are sorting out the 3 cent issue, the ticket is sold for £5 and the margin after telco costs is split 50/50.
All of this sounds fine though with more and more programmes changing they way they bill it can in effect render all previous promo work, promo sites worthless by devaluing the the revenue earned per click.
I think affiliates should be given a clear choice of the type of billing the surfer they send sees, if they dont convert then the site owner can do what the hell they like.
Another moan but one that I feel is more then justified :)
