I used to love the Fighting Fantasy books and went through most of them. I also did the Cretan Chronicles trilogy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cretan_Chronicles), which was really fucking tough.

Best FF book? Has to be Freeway Fighter!

LOL I had a few of those (predictably). I particularly enjoyed the Way Of The Tiger (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Way_of_the_Tiger) series which was about ninjas. I had a thing about ninjas as a lad.

Who am I kidding - I still have a thing about ninjas. Recently read a book about them. Here's a quote from the author's website:
