I emailed it over yesterday, they take up to 60 days to add it unless you pay $499 for fast adding, but Im to poor and Jay is to tight to pay it :(

What is RSS?

RSS (http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2002/12/18/dive-into-xml.html)

simply put, a newsfeed kinda thing, which will report new threads on the baord. those of us using an RSS reader, like the one in Trillian or some other, then get a quick notification of the new thread without having to be on the board at that moment. if something pops up that interests you very much, you just click on it and you jump straight in rather then finding it when you return.

this board software has RSS built in, AFAIK.

awesome, just got the first notifications :thumbsup:

quick question, is it set to refresh rather frequently? another board had it on 24 hours the other day, which kinda defeated the object.
a 15 minutes refresh or so would be sweet.

which refreshes every 15 mins.

yeah i need to check it out properly - will see what I can do ...

What are you using to grab/read the rss ... a custom app? .. Have never dabbled with it personally ..
