while lets face it, its now a rite load of old poo.

its another political correct dull show. ie they tick all the boxes. as in they have filled it up with females and so on to make sure everyone is equal. and they always now seem to have a nice hug with the badies at the end. well they did in the only show i watched where they had a big heart to heart with a dalick and said they al loved each other and how wrong it was to kill each other (no wonder kids stab each other, its the only entertainment they get these days).

anyway, the good thing is they have Davros back, which meansd that again anyone in a wheelchair will be called Davros as in the good old days when i was a kid. at least then you had a choise between ironside and Davros.

anyway, we know the end of tonights show. they have a nice group meeting and say they are all sorry for being bad.

what a load of old tosh telly is these dayas. no wonder no one watches. bring back the old days of sexsist tv, where blokes did the winning and the chicks looked hot.

Its strange really. When I was in the states, I used to catch the odd episode on the sci-fi channle, or on BBC America... Dr Who didnt have a 'regualar slot' so to speak, so I was always pleased to see that it was on, when it was on...

The one with the children in gasmasks set in the war was UNBELIVABLE!

I really enjoyed it, and made a point of trying to watch it...

Now Im back in the UK and I can watch it on a regualr basis... Ive lost all interest in it... Weird...

i think i can write a dr who show these days.

get well known person, put rubber face on them.

they do somthing bad.

dr who pops over and says killing is wrong.

bad person feels bad, and becomes friends.

the end.

You still hanging out for Anne Widdecombe as the new assistant?

River Song will come in next year. the actress recently joined the BBC set of actors, so she is at hand. and she still has to meet the recent Doctor, as she recognized his current looks in the library episode.

'Twould appear Tom Baker's coming back.

(Also... The Brigadier himself!)

Veteran Doctor Tom Baker set to return to the Tardis

Tom Baker could be set to turn back the clock and make a comeback on Doctor Who.

Reports claim that the veteran actor is being lined up to appear alongside David Tennant in the next series of the reborn show.

BBC bosses are believed to have held lengthy talks with Baker, who became an iconic figure when he played the Doctor in the 1970s and early Eighties (pictured below).

A BBC source claimed that it was a "certainty" that the 74-year-old would appear in the 2010 season.

The insider said: "The fans will love this. There have been great reactions when we brought back the Daleks, Davros and K-9, so can you imagine this?

"What hasn't been decided is what role Baker will play – The Doctor or another character."

Paisley-born writer Steven Moffat is taking over the BBC sci-fi classic from Russell T Davies.

Moffat is known to be a huge fan of Baker's boggle-eyed, eccentric incarnation of the time-traveller and it is understood that he is desperate to bring him back.

The revived series is taking a break in 2009, three special episodes aside, so Tennant can play Hamlet in a prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company adaptation.

Earlier this year Baker fuelled speculation of a comeback when he appeared at the opening of a Doctor Who exhibition in Earls Court, London.

Previously, the Liverpool-born actor had attempted to distance himself from his most famous role.

In 1983 Baker rejected the chance to appear in the 20th anniversary epic, The Five Doctors, which saw his predecessors Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee reprise their role alongside the then Doctor, Peter Davidson. BBC bosses used footage of Baker from an unshown episode.

The Doctor Who News Page is delighted to be able to confirm the return of a popular and much-loved character from the classic series of Doctor Who. The character appeared in many classic series stories, and will be seen in a two-part story in the next series of spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures, starring Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith.

The returning character is Sir Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, played by Nicholas Courtney. The character - who for much of the classic series was the commanding officer of the UK branch of UNIT, and one of the Doctor's closest allies - first appeared in 1968 opposite the Second Doctor, and went on to appear in stories with the Third, Fourth, Fifth and Seventh.

Courtney has also played the Brigadier opposite the Sixth and Eighth Doctors in officially-licensed audio dramas from Big Finish Productions.

The same Sarah Jane Adventures story will also apparently see the return of the Sontarans, seen in several classic series stories and more recently in series four of Doctor Who.

Samantha Bond is also believed to be returning as Mrs Wormwood, the character she played in the pilot episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures.
