much cheaper is to stay where you are and stab yourself, so you get the same affect as being in london without the cost.

:lmao2: DVT you should be mentioned in dispatches for that comment.
That has to be the funniest post you have made.

Funny...
But this whole "knife crime epidemic" is a figment of the media imagination. They've just decided to start reporting the issue every day.
There have always been frequent stabbings in the UK. But the British moan culture needs to believe that things are always getting worse.
It is also unclear whether knife crime is going down or up. Available official statistics suggest it has fallen since the mid-1990s, but the Government concedes the limited figures are far from reliable.

Exactly, I was talking about this the other day and someone said "but years ago we just had a fight, no knives", maybe not so much but what we had then was glasses and bottle screwed into peoples faces.
I saw a programme a few years back and they were talking to old Eastend boys, all in their 60-70's and they were telling stories of how whole streets would fight and use knive machettes etc
I think more people, well kids, carry knives nowadays, but whether they do or even would use them is another matter.

Manchester has very few reported stabbings within the groups of 14-30.
Probably because we still have a the 'rent-a-gun' system operating so why take a knife to a gun fight!:noway2:
I don't know if the figures for carryng knives is going up or down but the media is having a field day on it.Perhaps harsher penalties for carrying and using a knfe are called for.

Exactly. There has always been rape, murder, violence, etc. it's just that the media keep on reporting it more. The UK is fantastic, a completely safe place to live, and we should all stop worrying about our kids' present and future safety.
personally Id give my left testicle to go live in london...
100% better than the midle of fucking nowhere I'm living in...

You say that in a sarcastic way but its actually true, well apart from the bit about the Uk being fantastic.
