Question for Awiz users

Do you think the included security features with awiz (anti password sharing etc) are sufficient for a fledgling paysite or would you recommend an additional level of security such as strongbox or phantom frog?

i would use strongbox, its a one off payment and their support has always been really helpful with us.

We use Awiz to run our sites and IMO, while the Security features are OK, I wouldn't rely on them 100% as they're pretty simple when compared to the likes of Phantom Frog etc.

I'd recommend Phantom Frog 100%. Bill is extremely helpful a pretty much gets and keeps the whole thing running for you.

We subscribe to he top level version and it saves us a lot of time on support issues relating to password issues... both shared passwords and lost passwords cos it's all pretty much automatic. If a pass is used by more than one person, it immediately shuts that pass down, changes it & emails the new pass to the legit owner.

Also if a customer has lost his pass, they can get a new one automatically, just by entering their email address... which means punters can sort out 99% of their own issues while you're asleep or down the pub.

It'll also save you a fortune in Bandwidth too, cos their will be less non-paying punters burning bandwidth on your box and any feeds you use. Ours paid for itself in about 2 days I think...
