I've been experimenting with Morphing feeds on a few blogs and after talking with a few other webmasters people are getting very mixed results... Are they really worth their salt?

Some sponsors claim their feeds morph, but they have just one line of text in their post so surely the uniqueness off the posts in the feed, despite the morphing is a bit limited???...

Anyone here having good result and reckon they're worth sticking with, or are they just another flash in the pan gimmick to attract webmasters to sponsor programs?

IMO I think they have no real SEO benefit. Morphing feeds may be a way of avoiding some slight duplicate content penalty (if such a thing exists) and prevent splogs being sub-indexed in the SE's, but that's about it.

They are OK for none se projects, eg, making a fuck load of blogs quickly if you know were the traffic is going to come from.

It would seem to me that if you duplicate something 100 times the Google spiders and program will spot it and disregard it.

So why do so many ask for RSS blog feeds?

Should I assume they have the traffic and write them to suit the surfer or assume they don't and write them to suit SEO?

Morphing feeds change for every affiliate, no one has the same content, hense the term morphing :)
