As you all know, I've been in discussion with OPEC for the past 18 months and have single-handedly persuaded them to increase the price of oil. Sorry about that.

But seriously... we're fucked.

Our LPG tank was half filled when me moved in March. at £0.32 per litre its just empty and was £0.59 per litre this time... £900 in two months for domestic gas.

It is a good time to be a pikey though.. they are following the heating oil tankers and when they make a delivery they come back at night and use pumps to steal the oil

Its also a great time to have a gas guzzling 4x4.. :fighting0097:

Petrol is at the cheapest its ever been

Proportionatly to income it has never been cheaper. Regardless what people spout.

I'll be glad when they eventually put the prices up to what they were in the 70's when petrol was expensive. It is far to cheap now :twocents:

Its a good time to be in the solar panel business now.

It was at one time not realy worth getting solar pannels, but now it is. In fact if you use oil for heating, for less than it costs to fill your oil tank you can get one of those solat heaters.

I think a lot of people will start opting for solar and wind turbines, which will mean them getting cheaper too.

If i was not scared of hights, i would be thinking of selling them and installing them.

Apparently oil is more expensive now than the 70's, although i am too young to remember it.

Apparently its not that there iis low suply, but that therey can not refine it quick enough. Apparently recently a refinary blow up. And the last one built was 30 years ago.

They say it will be like this for at least 8 years.

I suspect we will see more people opting for deasel. I love mine. I put £10 in and the electronic computer says i will get aprox 200 miles. In my old car (poor baby) I put £10 in and would get 45 miles.

What we are going to see over the next years is people selling of there petrol cars cheap.

I supose in some ways its a good thing as people will use there cars less and walk or cycle to work - thus good for the environment and good for your health.

At the moment I am cycling as much as I can. Not realy to save money, but to get fitter. Plus I am fed up of paying to park or whatever. Its nice that you cfan cycle in to town without fear of speed cameras and simply stop where you want without having to pay for parking. Plus its quicker to cycle into town than drive.
