Why Christmas/winter sucks

1. Its cold.
2. Its only light for 30 mins.
3. I end up having to see family that I have avoided all year and pretend to find them interesting.
4. I will buy my uncle a great present, and he will buy me a jumper which is way too big for me.
5. My dad will buy me some garbage of QVC after I spend weeks finding him a great gift.
6. I get stupid Christmas cards which waste my time opening.
7. I have to lie to people and say "did you get my card I sent", pretending I sent them one when I did not.
8. I end up having to go to my uncles on charismas day, which means having to buy his girlfriend and her kids something. Plus spoils my TV schedule. Plus it means having to eat whatever junk she has cooked (ok she is not a bad cook, but I bet she will forget I am vegetarian).
9. They spoil TV by putting on religious shows (what's that to do with charismas).
10. People put up stupid decorations to take them down a few days later.
11. The shops are closed when I want a pint of milk.

I liked it when I was a kid, as it was all about giving me stuff, and not giving stuff.

tld my dad that I was anything spong bob sqyare pants, or that cool robot (thats about £80), or a PSP.

What I will probably get is a paint brush set of QVC.

Last year i got a universal remote controll.

Well when it comes to switching off the life suport machine, I shall be finding it much easer.

I have to ask my aunt to buy me underpants, as Ihave run out, and I get too embarresed to buy them. Its daft I can walk through town nude, no problems, but buy underwear, I just cannot.

I don't mind xmas, but the early promotions in every store irritate me.

There are very few people I buy gifts for and they, like me, all have wishlists at places like Amazon or Westward Bound, so it's easy. I don't send cards at all.

Xmas day still feels 'different' to me, somehow. It's hard to explain, but it's like an 8th day, outside of the Monday to Sunday week. I always lose track of what day it is around then.

that is to keep the shareholders happy, profits have been down the last few years and the greedy hoards are losing out! give the public more chance to spend money on this consumerfest and your profits should be given a boost
