I just noticed that Geezer has a Top List and.. What do these do for sales.. Most I've seen link to other top lists to other top lists etc.

Do they generate traffic and/or sales ? I've got a domain I could add one to but.. What are the benefits..

I like toplists, they are an ok way of getting decent enough clicked traffic. I run a few http://www.adult-traffic.co.uk and I also have joined quite a few over the years

I want to do more with www.ukindianporn.com When I moved SGD at the end of July, I forgot that this was on the same server and only realised I owned it over the weekend..

I have a few top lists and they make decent sales each month. Also a decent place to sell your partnership program etc to other webmasters. I like the pro version of the JMB top list software has some nice features here (http://www.jmbsoft.com/software/arphp/)

As everyone knows I'm a total tech no no.. Is it worth paying the extra for it to be installed ? Can I ban Sneezwort etc. easily, as I won't have non Indian sites listed... LOL.

The free version is easy to set up. But I paid for the installation on the pro version wanted to make sure they where done right :)

I just downloaded the free version and.. What the fuck is it all about.. LOL. It was all Chinese to me... I can see why you went for their install.. How long did it take them to do it after payment ?

Both versions are easy to install. I use AutoRank PHP on mine and it works great.

I read the pages with the download and I really have no idea at all what it's about. If the free version works to start with then I can upgrade to the Pro.. :)

JP is right the php version is best. Getting confused I have a version of the pro and php. Im not 100% sure but I dont think you can upgrade the free to the php version.

That's gonna be a tough job to ban sneezwort.

Most people spend their whole lives picking out the sneezwort from their nose.

They flick it, eat it, smear it, even hide it on tissue and flush it down the loo.

But the next morning it's back again.

As big and green as ever.

You need to add all your html to the "Edit Ranking Page" section, you can also change all the default settings there as well, ie: colour scheme.

The installation is all done for you, now just go to the "Edit Ranking Page" and have a play about so you can change the colour scheme to fit with your site, you can also add banners and basicaly anything you want.

Just create your html to make the page how you want it and then simply add that. The best thing to do is copy all that is on the "Edit Ranking Page" and save that in NotePad, you can then change all you want and if you mess it up just copy and paste the original back.

I've now added a header and banner but.. I added a test site, received the email, linked to a banner for the other site.. Sent a hit but it's not showing :(

Joe the site wont show untill the site updates itself, I think the default is 24hours you can make that a longer or shorter update if you wish.

If you want me to explain some of the default setting and help you change the template hit me up on icq this afternoon.

You can also do it manually via the Cpanel, simply click on "Rebuild Ranking page" that will then update the page.

You can also set the "Minimum Hits" so if you set it at 10, then they will need to send 10 hits before they show.

This is done through the "Edit Options" this is also where you can set the "Rebuild" time. I leave mine at 24 hours but obviously you could set it to "Rebuild" or update at 1 hour half an hour whatever you want.

I found where to make the changes and my first listed site is showing..

Now if any of you have your own sites/pages that list SGD please submit and you'll show asap as it's set for no hits in.. The idea of my list is just to send traffic to people who promote the site on other domains, so no recip is really needed.. :)

I used to run a proper toplist on Pandemos, but it just leaked about 10 times as much traffic as it collected.

I also had link to other toplists all over the place, but I've got rid of most of them now. Again, just a traffic leak.
