I received my champagne today courtesy of SGS and Ladysonia.com (http://www.ladysonia.com) but now I'm a bit pissed off.

I opened the bottle, it went well the cork went about 100ft in the air, then I put my finger over the top and shook it like a bastard, like they do in F1, to celebrate. Well when I had finished there was hardly any left and what was left was very flat

Nah, I just noticed it was an old bottle anyway, fucking 1995. I couldn't find a Best Before date but a ten year old bottle of drink?

Great :)

It sometimes takes a few days to arrive as the suppliers have a problem keeping up with demand. There is actually quite a shortage and just about every bottle is pre-sold before it's released.

Hope Mrs. Geezer and yourself enjoy the Champagne and congratulations from everyone at SGS :)

Yes, feels exactly the same as the old Lucazade bottles too but apparently the light kills the Champagne and that protects it.

OK, here's another one just to keep JT jealous, this time no wrapper, although it's back in and safely tucked away now ;)
