Not a very good pic but we completed this morning at 11.30 and picked up the keys this afternoon. The studio / office annex is the building on the right.

Want to get moved in now ASAP. :)

Thanks :)

Its not too far away from where we are now. Its in one of those new hi-tech village developments that are meant to get people back into the countryside. Our land backs across the vale of Belvoir right across to Belvoir Castle.

What's wrong with my place. It has central heating, hot and cold running water etc. And and i've never seen such a large kitcheb and dining room... LOL

I couldn't reply last night as the lights go out at 10 pm... Sorry..

And yup, they said there is room for one more... The other problem is I have to use the pc here, not my own, and I can't always get on line during the day as some of the others use it to write job applications. If I'm lucky it'll be my turn on Monday to do that.. :)

I just had a dreadful thought - if lights go out at 10pm, I assume staggering back from the pub at 11.30 is out of the question (or is probably banned at any time given the landlord!). :cheers2:

On second thoughts I'd better see if SGS has a spare garage :lmao2:

There's a certain serendipity to that...

It is photoshopped actually as the address was on the lawn there :)

The irony that Belvoir (pronounced beaver) Castle is right behind us has not gone unmissed. :)

Well you can all come to my place but please bring your own knives, forks and spoons as we only have cheap plastic ones here.

Here are the meal times:

Breakfast: 7 - 8 am Lunch: 12.30 -1.30 pm Dinner 6 - 7 pm. There may be a queue, so I apologise in advance. Tonights special is minced meat and onions with mash, so get here early if you can as this is a favourite with the locals and it all goes PDQ :)

When is the singsong with the tambourine?

Joe A

We have a sing song with the tambourine after every meal. It's our way of saying grace after meals..

I gotta go now as it's my turn for a bath and with lights out soon... I gotta rush... LOL

I have been wracking my brains here… Back in the 70s a few mates and myself used to spend every weekend in London for the birds and the clubs but as we were always short of money we used to have to sleep in the car or the van but we used to go along to the public bath house on Friday and Saturday tea times to get scrubbed up and ready to go out. But I can’t remember if the bathhouse was Clapham baths or somewhere else? Used to be a whole load of bath cubicles with an attendant (to keep the tramps out) and whole families used to go along for their “weekly” after the football or the shopping. Would that have been Clapham baths or somewhere else?
