New 2257

Ok seen a lot of threads posts on U.S. American forum boards regarding the new 2257 etc. not seen or had a lot of feedback from British webmasters apart from the odd comment that it doesn't affect us ? so has anyone got any thoughts ideas plans of how they will adapt to these new guidelines

Maybe your thinking of dropping all U.S. Sponsors unless you promote softcore, what about hosting seen a few posts where they recommend you move your hosting to a none U.S. server ? Also seen posts where they claim it doesn't matter where you are ! you still need to conform. I'm with Webair at the moment who seem to do a good job. Are any British Webmasters trying to conform to the new rules. I have always attempted to follow the world leaders and in my book the U.S. is the biggest but i guess like most Americans I'm finding it near damn impossible to comply

Shandy McAndy thanks for pointing me in the direction of them informative posts, some good stuff in their and at least looks like I'm safe with Webair. Still a little confused about shoving the 2257 link up with respect that it looks like your conforming ? just to make sure i got this correct ! basically have the correct 2257 link and producer information, Keep all your content Softcore and hopefully the Men in Black will never arrive asking to check all your documentation or is it ? still use Hardcore images and the above still applies

Theres not distinction bewteen hardcore and softcore with reference to the 2257 regs just explicit or not.

With reference to what the compliant link will look like, I havnt seen anyone who has a true compliant link, correct size etc etc, I guess we wait until one of the American companies like adult.com do it then we copy. But basically any main enterance into your site needs the link e.g domain index page and any sub domains that could be thought of as an enterance page.
