I was in the local offey last night buying a bottle of baileys :blush: The bloke in the que in front of me starts talking to the person behind the counter if he likes exstacey. Then right there in front of everyone gets a couple out and swallows them. Has the world changed that much that people will openely do class A drugs in a que sorrounded by complete sober strangers?

Its ten years since Leah Betts died her father has given up on drunk education as he feels its just got worse. For those of you who dont know Leah died from a pill, her brain was pressed against her skull as she took onboard way too much water - the advice all us ravers were given.
The fact we want to make weed legal is a joke if you visit the dam on a weekend you will see the streets filled with fucked up brits and that is not something we need here in the UK.
Has the world changed, no the people have they just have no respect for others if someone wants to do drugs then so be it though they should do it at home away from others.
Personally I have had a weed habbit on and off for nearly 15 years about 5 years ago it was a hard for me to control, I dont smoke on the streets and would cerntainly make it difficult for teens to smoke shit in our local park.
But when high profile people are banging shit up their nose or sticking in their arm and then are plastered all over the papers and the telly it just says to people despite the headlines that - if I can do it and be celeb then it must be OK -

They realised all The Kids were not drinking as they were off their faces on pills. So they horrifically leapt on the Betts death and made her a poster child for pro-drinking. Nice.

While i don't condone drugs, E's have killed very very few people... unlike alcohol and tobacco.

No its not, you had 10's of thousands of people filling up every venue playing russian roulette with tabs they were buying.
What happened to Leah made me and my mates think long and hard about what we were doing looking back on it now it seems tie in when we quit getting off our heads.
Let me ask you JT if you HAD to choose between you off spring drinking a bottle of WKD or taking an E what would you choose?
as long as we're on the subject of drugs....where does the weed in the U.K. come from? Do they grow weed there? Just curious...

Bud is grown in the UK & imported, we get a lot of our black from north africa, yardie weed I hard no idea where it comes from never known anyone grow it.
I was sat in a pub garden a few weeksd back and looked up and saw a 4 foot skunk tree I pointed it out to my mate but he wouldnt have it, next day it was gone!

You missed my point. the fact that was shocking was that a Alcahol lobbying group would use the death of Leah to help sell more alcahol.
But to answer your question. I would never do another E as long as I live. As you know I also use to smoke puff up till last year. Me and you have been quite stoned together at more than one occaision. When one day I was stoned again by about 11 in the morning, I thought this is no good anymore and I gave up. Never had a joint since
