Used it for years going right back to the Windows 3.1 1st version and prefer it to Sage.

I use to use Sage, It almost put me out of business, its an accountants package or at the least a very good book keepers package. My accountant told me to switch to quick books, I have to agree with SGS its by far easier to use. I would recomend it every time

That brings back memories actually as it was our accountant who recommended Quickbooks to us. Must be an easy program when it comes to fixing fuck ups or something. :)

Well my accounts was in such a state with Sage that it ended up costing me £1500 to get an accountant to fix it, he then made me use quickbooks. One massive advantage quickbooks has over programs like sage is, you can write over invoices and the like, without it leaving a trace. Witsh sage it keeps the copy of any alteration.

So if you was to raise and invoice and someone was to pay it in cash.........

Not if I do it once a month - but I don't - I spend two or three days scrabbling around for receipts just before they're due to be send in
