as I'm still rebuilding my jods site, it will be the only one thats a fake tgp...now for my other domains was thinking of just static pages, thinking of for each nice domain, say mature do a page with a sponsors site say www.thematuregranny.com/sponsorsmaturesitehere/ and so on with other mature sponsors...or would it be better to have a good keyword phrase at the end instead of the name of the sponsors sitename? got about 13 niches/domains to rebuild here!
I should add i have always done fake tgps and have dabbled with blogs/splogs...wanna try something new :) well new for me i mean!
I use a lot of static pages... and blogs... but I dont do tgps... I do OK with them :)

I would say, work out what works for you and do more of that. If nothing in particular seems to work, try lots of things. If you can't do more of the particular thing that works, i.e. you can't scale it up, then it's a waste of time to spend one more minute on it. Do something else, but form a strategy. I do think you need to have some sort of strategy regarding the way you go about building sites, what kind of sites you build and where you put them.

well I have always gone for tgps, and think thats why I struggle soon as i got my new host and main domain propagated i put a little message up sorry site is down due to unforseen circumstance blah blah and left a link to main jods sponsor and still got a signup! so im thinking maybe tgps is not the way to go for me anymore and to be honest despite what i said in earlier post it was making money ok, think it could still done better! :)
I guess I'm stuck or been spoilt by tgp stuff being automated and refresh with new content automatically with a script, kinda scares me if static pages or blogs (yes know you can make blogs on auto) will be too stagnant for the surfer? like i say this would be new terrority for me...apart from blogs which to be honest mine are mostly splogs!

Quoted for truth... When I first posted, I was really just answering the question (That yes, I did use static pages) But that said, if you 'know' tgp / commus stuff, AND IT WORKS FOR YOU... Do more of that... Don't 'tangent off' and go in a totally new direction, just cause your hosting got fucked... If you have something that works, just do more of it... Do it again and again, and again... Hence the phrase... Rinse and repeat... :)
