This guy emailed me earlier saying he took out a 3 month subscription and now didn't want it as he's moving house. I told him we don't offer refunds for this reason (politely) and he should have taken a normal 30 day membership if he knew he was moving and now i get this back:

"my lawer is now going to be contacting you, i can prove that i have not been on your web page,my son used my card without my permission, i now want to know exacttly whats going on, i require an email , stating as to what company are dealing with this, also, i have got no email from the company saying the transaction has worked, i have even tried to access the site, it wont let me which says to me that you have got MY bank details, and i want some assurance that no moneys will be taken, i have been on to the bank, and explained that you will not execpt this, i mailed you earlyer ok, , im now going to contact watchdog, and explain that you have my bank details , i havent been on your site ok, , and i want to know how to get out of this, i need to know wat company are going to be taking my money without my permission, this was all down to my son and a few drunk mates of his, not me"

What shall i email him back or should i just wait for Nicky Cambell and the Watchdog crew to contact me? :lmao2:

I would write back and tell him to contact Watchdog and every other such programme. Also ask him to take out an ad in as many papers as he can, ovbiously including the URL for one of your sites.

Luvverly jubberly free advertising ;)

We get those all of the time. Tell him to confirm with you that his son used his card without his permission so that you can contact both the card company and the police to report him for the fraudulent transaction with you. Using a credit card without the owners consent is theft and we *always* prosecute fraudulent transactions.

I've heard of a few emails demanding a refund lately from various sites. Maybe it's the same guy - he got pissed on Friday, joined a bunch of sites, and now his wife's asking him what all these pending transactions are in their joint cc account.

Wait till watchdog come - with any luck they'll post your urls in an attempt to stop people visiting...

My advise is just to ignore him.

The best thing to do is send an email that says:

Thank you for your email,

Due to shooting content we will be out of the country for 3 months, when we return we shall answer your emails.

You know I had a similar thing with a Yank and what he wasnt going to do to me wasnt worth doing. It became a thing me and my mates would talk about down the pub every night. Trying to find more ways of annoying him with petty emails

I'll ignore him for now. I've told him to speak with the billing company.

Some nice ideas from you guys tho :)

It reminds me of that scam a few years ago.

A firm set up selling penis enlargement cream. People sent them checks.

A few weeks later, they sent everybody a letter saying after tests, the cream does not work, so we enclose a refund.

The checks were from a firm 'Penis Enlargement Co' (or something like that. Most people did not want the embarrassment of cashing the checks. So most were not cashed.

So what you want to do is set up a bank account, under the name 'porn for perverts', then send refunds from that account. Most people will be too embarrassed to cash the checks.
