next day is good.

i use natwest and they take 7 days, but they can take 4 weeks.

the reason is, is that they send the checks back to the usa, then back to the uk again.

Barclays took almost 3 weeks with a couple of mine. I think it usually depends on how man champagne lunches the banking cunts have in their diarys at the time.

Lloyds seemed to have changed their policy on cashing USD cheques, if I pay in a bundle around half are refered, I get a letter then as each one is cleared in some cases it can take 3 weeks.

CCBill, Verotel payments always go right through anything hand written - mainly these come from UK sponsers who have UK based USD account get refered.

What shocked me was they changed my paper work so a ton of cash just disappeared, I went into the branch who looked at everything and explained things are being refered more now.

thanks for the comments guys. I called today to find out what's happening and had to fax over my reciept - some silly girl "filed" my cheques by mistake!!! I got a call saying how sorry they are blah blah. I'm not suprised, i thought this was the case, the girl had no idea when i paid them in. I won't be using that branch again. they are sending them to international now, where they should have gone in the first place.
