I had a hell of a day - had a warrant issued for my arrest this morning. Well, I opened this letter, and the first thing I saw was "Warrant for your arrest" and threats that I would be detained in a police cell. Finally I noticed that the name on the letter wasn't mine, and the address was garbled too, so spoke to an idiot who believed my story of not being the person in question (without even asking my real name) and said he'd take care of it. Was for an unpaid fine, for a moment I had visions of court cases involving the OPA and all sorts... Nearly gave me a heart attack in fact! Also had a site hacked and defaced (fixed now), and another site and my main email went down for about 2 hours.

So hot chocolate won't cut it tonight! But tomorrow, maybe, and curl up with a nice psychological thriller as I slowly die from this second bout with avian flu that also began in earnest about 2 hours ago... :cheers2:

I drink now & then. I'm a lapsed straight-edger. When I'm not drinking I work, read, play nerdy games, have sex, masturbate, watch films, hang out with my cat, go out etc. I've always thought drinking a lot shows lack of imagination & a bit of a waste of time & money. No offense to the alcoholics among us of course - I waste loads of money & time on various fruitless pursuits, but drinking doesn't feature heavily among them.

I definately need to do more exercise and cut back on the booze/fags. I went on my bike this morning to a quary and the mud was unreal. The bike got jammed with thick muddy clay (wheels wouldn't turn) and had to carry bike to more solid ground.
Shoes/ankles were caked in clay, difficulty in walking through mud and bike weighed a ton with all the clay stuck to it. I've never been so out of breath - thougt i was gonna have a heart attack.
I'm not at all overweight and thought i was quite fit, but how wrong was i.

I only have a drink couple time a month and it is usually one pint of guinness. When i go home, I do domestic stuff, work on my company, go shopping, but at night my vice is Tea......

I used to drink a lot and 5 years ago I got so trashed I couldn't remember my name and I didn't like the way I felt the next day so i never did it again..... :)

No. It was one of those days - had virtually no downtime at all with this host.

As it happens the host who lost the domain has stopped billing me and given me the hosting free forever, I got a new domain, and we're still working on killing the domain thief... In fact I've ended up building quite a good relationship with the MD - apparently this guy had it in for her company and stole several other domain names. I'm looking at it as a case of clouds and silver linings (must be one of my glass half full days, but not half full of JD after last night...
