Would someone here be willing to share information about how much traffic a blog would have to have to make say one sale pay day as an affiate. I am talking about natural search engine traffic comming to the site not purchased traffic. Thanks in advance for any info you are willing to share. If you don't know the answer please refrain from giving a guess.

Thanks

Totally depends on the sponsor / niche...
Without knowing that its like you asking how much liquid can i fit in this bottle, but we dont know how big the bottle is...

Lets say your niche is boobs and you are referring to a few different big boob sites. Does that help?

its not about quantity, it's about quality. I posted this queston (although in a different manner) a whileback. Every answer you get will be different - although markhams is ALWAYS the same as the usual trodge he posts - bt it's generally this;

how long is a piece of string?

Maybe I should put this a different way then. If I was going to buy a site that had traffic of 2000 uniques per day that all came from search engines with people searching for keyphrases with the word "boobs" in it how much would I be looking to pay?

How long? Exactly Twice as long as it is, from the middle, to one end...

How much are they asking you to pay?

I am not looking to buy a website. I build websites. The real question is how much search engine traffic does it take to sell one membership per day as an affiliate?

depending on the quality of the SE traffic - people searching for keyphrases with the word "boobs" in it reaches from 'big boobs' to 'free boobs pics' ... - as well as your skills in pre-selling the surfer, the availability of your site when the surfer tries to open it, the actual tour you send them to and the payment options the surfer is able to use there, anywhere from 1 surfer to several k.

and we haven't even taken into account tracking issues or shaving yet.

unless you narrow it down, you will never get a valid answer.
if you were to ask about sponsor XY and a certain way of promoting them, you might find someone who can share their results. and that is all it is, THEIR results, yours may be totally different.

Far too many variables to make even a half arsed educated guess.

I have one site that gets 1,500 highly targeted SE uniques and does 5-10 sales a day. I have another that gets 1,000 not so highly targeted SE uniques but only makes a sale every two days.

The former is with sponsors I have experience of and the latter is a newish niche I'm trying out but dont have the experience or the numbers to tweak and refine...but I'm working on it :)

A boob blog, targeting a low comp boob specific keyword, sending traffic direct to the tour of a boob paysite, I'd expect it to convert it at 1:1000-5000.
