We're finally getting around to having links pages on our sites. So who's up for some trades? Spots available on all 5 of our sites:

Not all the pages are up right this second, but are being built. All we want is a recip hardlink from you - text link for a text link, banner for a banner. Sound fair?

Swings & roundabouts - traffic leaks out, traffic leaks in.

We have affiliate tours with no leaks, and type-in tours with leaks. Obviously you wouldn't link to us from one of your leak-free pages.

We used to do that using Linksmanager (http://linksmanager.com/index.html) a few years ago (downloaded to our own server of course) and we played with setting Autorank too for links but it proved to be a pain in the ass in the end.

We toyed with the idea of putting together a free mini site just for cross links and stuff just for traffic exchanges but never got around to it but I think that just developed into our blog which really does the same thing.

What problems are you having with Wordpress?

I'm trying to download themes and installing them in the correct directory on the server. But the themes don't seem to come with the correct files - I only get the images and a style.css file, but no templates.

The other thing is modifying the templates - I'm used to using blogger.com and it's easy to just add stuff into the template with that. But in wordpress I'm being told that the files aren't writable when I access them from the admin panel. So do I have to do it all in my HTML editor?

Good idea. When I first read the thread I thought it was another UK affiliate program with tours with a ton of leaks. Glad to see you are doing it the right way.

We'll link to anything that sends traffic - toplists, link directories, paysites, blogs - whatever.

this is why you use Blogs Organizer (http://www.cheapestadultscripts.com/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=pmebg) - no problems with customizing it in any way you want.

The whole world of Adult blogging seems really odd to me. It seems that most people are using the idea of a blog like a TGP and not like a blog at all. a site with a free porn pic on it every day isn't really a Wiki definition (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog) .

A blog should be like The Girl (http://girlwithaonetrackmind.blogspot.com)

But maybe that's just semantics?

Yeah that's right.

I had a dogging blog and I would write stories of what I, as a woman, got up to with my friends when we went dogging. I would use it like a diary, which is what a blog should be, after all it is a web log (blog).

you don't do a whole site with CSS, it's only part of the design. with BO you can work like coding a regular site, you are just as free in your layout. on some blogs i use CSS, on others i don't. and the big plus is one admin area for all your blogs.

Sorry some confusion here clearly. A question was asked about WordPress where the answer was CSS.

No one is or was suggesting CSS is a replacement for a piece of blogging software. I am sure the site you are plugging is great, I just prefer to use WordPress - as many others do.

I was answering a specific question, not debating the merits of your software (or the software you are set up with aff links for) against WordPress, blogger or anything else. Life is far too short for that!
