I'm looking for a new desktop computer and wondering if you have any online shop reccomendations.

I'm only after a new box, not a whole PC package.

All the best from a not so sunny Scotland.

And yes, we do have roads and parcel deliveries do come further north than manchester :P

Do you have an Aldi's

Nice spec unless you want it for HD editing.

What do you want to do with it?

Edit video? Play games? Make music? Or just cut up some pictures and surf the web?

What's your budget?

The machine is for general webmastering use, no video editing, and no heavy duty gaming.

It would be nice for it to handle semi decent graphics so I can at least check out some of the gaming experiences that I've always missed out upon. My current PC only has to look at anything moving faster than a tortoise and it crashes quicker than the average windows operating system.

The budget is only around £400, but remember I only need the box. I will use existing moniter etc.

although the prices look very good I'm a little wary of building my own as I'll likely end up with some kind of hardware conflicts that I dont have the knowledge to either avoid or fix.

Its a bit misleading, it's not actually "Build" your own it is just "Pick" your own. So you will get the standard gear for the price, you can just add a better graphics card, sound card etc and the put it altogether for you.

Best prices and delivery, last week I needed a special cable ordered it at 4:30 in the afternoon and was delivered at 10 the next morning.

Some good suggestions there - Thankyou :-) I've bookmarked them for future reference (novatech, ebuyer).

The one I'll probably end up using is from Geezer, the "choose your own bits" option. The fact that they build and test it before shipping it won me over.

Thankyou.

I got one from www.cube247.co.uk a few months back - very good spec for the price and I've had no probs with it whatsoever apart from one small thing with my monitor during setup - support was right on the ball tho.

I'd second Novatech, used them several times, including machines for family, and they're very good and superb support. Had a problem with a stick of ram with one I built a few years ago, and after speaking to them on the phone they just swapped it withing a couple of days.
