I've been a part-timer in the adult internet business since 2001 when me and the wife set up a "homemade"site, but I still haven't really any understanding of the mechanics of the business (or the wife). I've always been with an AVS system (Proadult) because it's simple, but because of all the restrictions regarding advertising and marketing of PA sites, and the fact that they're providing free hosting etc, I've never really got to grips with the full scope of the adult internet industry such as traffic creation, hosting, bandwidth restrictions, tgp's, billing companies etc etc.
I'd like to branch out as I'm having massive problems with Proadult at the moment from people attacking my server, so what I'd like to know is... is there any kind of idiots guide somewhere on the web where I can learn all the ins and outs of this industry (excuse the pun), or do I have to spend years learning things the hard way like most of you pro's probably have.

Surely you have been generating your own traffic or have you just relied on PA to supply it?
There are many many sites out therea pretty good one for starters is cozyfrog, they have plenty of info and tutorials to get you going.

Your at the right place. Some top class webmasters here and not surfers like you find at most forums. Even though most are a bunch of Gaurdian reading lefties
