View Full Version : WOMEN spend nearly three years getting ready to leave the house.
That's because the average time needed for all those last-minute outfit changes, applying lippy and mascara and rummaging in the handbag is an hour and 12 minutes for every big night out.
And with the typical woman needing 40 minutes to get ready for work as well, the amount of time spent preening adds up to more than two years and nine months over a lifetime.
The figures come from a British study commissioned by the Nephria beauty brand.
Before a big night out, women typically spend 22 minutes showering, seven minutes moisturising, 23 minutes doing their hair, 14 minutes doing their make-up and six minutes dressing.
SO FUCKIN TRUE
And add more for taking a shit... Whenever women are out together they allways go together too, in order to spend more time, and turn it into a social occasion...

I bet they don't piss over each other like we do.
The amount of splash back from urinals is bollocks, next summer go into the toilet in shorts, don't piss and feel all the splash you get from the bloke (s) next to you :geezer:

Your sooooooooo funny
If I went to the toilet wearing shorts, and pretended not to pee whilst stood at the urinals...
I'd expect to either get beaten up, or arrested al-la George Micheal ! LOL

Nahhh, just get your cock out and wait to enjot the free shower :noway2:
Just don't shake it too much or they could well get the wrong impression :wank2:
Oooooh that is so not true! As a woman who lives with two blokes I can get showered, do my hair and make up in about twenty minutes.... the blokes on the other hand take at least an hour showering, shaving and stumbling round the house asking me if I've seen their socks/trousers/pants/shirts/boots/brains!

I'd say for a big even that might be true- day to day I can be ready in 15 minutes from rolling out of bed to being out the door. 25 if I take my time.
A big night out - well tonite I am at a Charity Ball - that will be well over an hour cos I'll need a long bath, shave my legs, then a shower, massage and body lotion, do my hair, makeup ( easily 20 minutes for perfection ) get a corset on and then a ball gown. I'd guess tonite will be more like 90 minutes to take my time and enjoy it but thats a real rarity - maybe twice a year for the odd ball or a wedding.

Actually I was wrong- I have been 'getting ready' since 3pm today - the event isn't until 7:30 and I have only just got out the bath :)

I read that as taking shit :spank:
So they should.
We have seen a down turn in standards over the last 40 years of women, which is frightning.
Girls slobbing around in tracksuits, bad hair, no makeup. Woman should spend alot of time getting their grisley faces sorted before they leave the house. Also they should like nice when at home.
Reminds me of the old joke
Why do women wear make-up and perfume?
Because they are ugly and they smell.

No I expect woman to be able to make the effort to look OK.
The same effort that they have managed for the last 1000 years in this country and that in most european countires they still manage.
What I dont expect is women to sit around, making no effort, in a tracksuit

ok fine, scrub the tracksuit but jeans? surely jeans are ok? skirts and stockings and all that ran dan isn't comfortable. It's just not no matter how much ofa spin you put on it. Women didn't work back then - they do now. Women work hard and have kids and do all sorts of stuff, they dont have time to make the same effort every single morning just to please their blokes.
I'm all for taking my time togo out at night but for a daily routine, it's not worth it especially as most men dont appreciate it .

40 years ago women weren't as career orientated as they are now. Ok so they might have worked but not like they do today. A working mother doesn't have time to get herself up an hour and a half earlier to make sure she's at her peak every day. She's got to be up at stupid o clock in the morning anyway to make sure thekids are off to school, the washing machine is loaded, everyones had breakfast, the dishes are done, shes at work on time, she works her ass off there, she then does the school run, has to get the dinner on, make sure the earlier washing is out and dry and the next load in, the ironing is do, the kids are fed, the kids are bathed, put to bed, then the housework begins, make sure everythings done before bed, then off to bed and start again the next day.
To do that in high heels, sexy clothes and perfect hair and make up doesn't work. ESPECIALLY when men don't appreciate it anyway.
THis isn't the case for all women and men but that's the way a lot of women see it.

50 years ago they were just working 12 hour days in munitions factories, with no domestic appliences, with rationing and part no husbands, no money and part time jobs.
Still looking 10 times better than woman do today.
Simple fact is women are now in the main, lazy and cant be arsed to take care of themselves the way they should

so you are saying 40 years ago, when women had even less chance for management positions, they took better care of themselves than they do now.
you are saying in times when women were more likely to be forced to do helper work and factory work, they wore stockings and slapped on paint, while today they do not.
how do you reckon does this make sense?
