LOL too true. Later I had an Atari ST, used to play the original version of Championship Manager on it, would be on the verge of winning the title after three or four seasons, and it would suddenly announce that there was no memory left :oldman:

My first PC was a XZ80... I built it myself (They came in kit form)
It was shit, so I built a ZX81 and learnt 'Basic'...
By the time the Spectrum arrived, I was using a Vic20, and had accsess to a Sharp MZ80K, and by the time the one above had put in appearence, I was into my Atari ST...

Those were the days though...

You are all snobs! My first one was a Spectrum 48 which had an external cassette player - only rich people could afford one with the inbuilt player!

My friend who played footy with us over the park - older bloke dead odd too was a graphic guy, he worked for Ocean on that game and three others with is pal - his name is on the front of the boxes....

I spent hours listening to him explaining the ways out of the maze and asking who he drew and why. You may remeber Prince Charles is in there. His other games I didnt think much of, Batman & Mathc Day II - Bernie his name, nice geezer but a bizzare.

Me too Jase.

I bought mine, aged 11, with MY OWN MONEY too (I did some child acting)!

Then I saw WarGames, and tried to wire up my external cassette deck with my radio tuned into 'computer noises' and tried to be a l33t haxx0r.

I didn't get too far with that.

:D
