View Full Version : Amazon?
i'm having another go at mainstream (because i found a name i like :)) its going to be a site about tv, at first i was just going to have adsense on there but looking at other sites like mine, i notice that a few of them have amazon adverts.
has anyone here tried amazon? are they worth it?

I wouldn't bother.
The commission is something like 4%, I suppose if you sell high value items then it might work, but low dollar items forget it.
Here's 5 years of stats from selling low value items (tourist guidebooks and maps) from a page that gets maybe 100 views a day:

Maybe I'm just doing it wrong ;)
oh dear, maybe i'll just stick to adsense
Amazon lol. Yup just like Nottslad said above it's not worth the effort. But in saying that for testing out a market/s conversion abilities, amazon is always a winner. :)
