Whats you guys views on review sites? Having just sold my previous site Im looking for something else to do mainly to keep me busy and sane and thought this might be a decent idea - does traffic from sites like janesguide and rabbitreviews etc convert?

Are there an UK centric sites like these which only focus on UK sites? Is it worth the bother? Am I wasting my time? And no Im not just looking for a way of getting free porn - I got so much of the stuff that I went blind ages ago.

If it is something you think is worth a shuftie then what do you wanna see in such a site that maybe other sites dont do? Whats most important in a review site to you?

We're on janesguide and do really well out of it - Richard's Realm and some niche specific review sites do well for us too

I was reviewed by rabbits and I get signups from there.

I have a fake review site, well it is a review site I just made up the reviews :) It used to get loads of s/e traffic and converted really well. Unfortunately, the traffic dropped off along with the sign ups and I haven't bothered updating it for months now.

Ok well after the feedback I have decided to go ahead and do it - realise that its only as successful as the marketing behind it and thats gonna be my challenge but there you go, at least I will have something to do for the next few months!!

Have found some scripts that kinda worked but am searching for a programmer to implement a bespoke / custom system for me so if anyone has any specific suggestions now is the time to shout.
