Why are you getting fed up DVT?
Because I have several checks that I am weighting for.
Its messing up my budget.
While at least some cash is wired and some via such as paypal and so on, this is just messing me about.
I have also sent out letters to people, which need sorting out.
This is 2007 and we are in a situation where we have a worse postal system than 1807.
I also think the way the postal workers are operating is dishonest. They are striking in such a way that they loose one days pay but in truth will not be working for several days. To me its theft.
If they want to strike then they should all strike the same days.
To be honest, if they have an exclusive licence then they should not be alowed to strike. Police are not alowed to strike.
There actions will cost the country millions, and we will see jobs be lost as firms go bust.

They are back at work Wed at 3am, so I cannot see why you will not get some mail wednesday.
But then again there will be a backlog, so you may get mail late.

Psht don't be daft. Cheque or Epass is the norm, bank transfer takes ages and they charge about $30-40

So, you make sales online, customers make payment online, you deliver your
product/service online and if you want your money paid to you electronically
you have to pay $30-$40. Fuckin hell, that's taking the piss a bit.
Payment processor has your money earning them money whilst you wait to get a cheque and cash it.
How long does it take the fuckwits UK banks to clear a US$ cheque?

My bank takes me about 4/5 days, that's working days. UK cheqes are actually LONGER! they take about 6/7 working days.

The postal strike couldn't have come at a better time for to be honest :) I left it too late to redirect my mail in time, so the last week at least all my letters will be sitting in the sorting office ready to be redirected instead of being sent to my old address :)
